Every vehicle that has a battery should be carrying one of these units. Gone are the days of jumper cables and giant portable units. I am very pleased with the months and months of charge that will hold. The hardest part is remembering that periodically, once or twice a year, to pull it out and charge it! Finally got to use it after having it for several months. It's been in my glove compartment for 6 months. Still had a 100% charge on it and it jumped my van with no problem at all. I prob could jump it again 2 more times. But def 1 more time. I think it used 25% of the charge. You can also charge your cell phone from it too. Im going to buy more for Xmas gifts. Great product.

Start time is very easy to use. My neighbor had a dead car battery, I pulled out my jump starter and within minits I had her car ready to go. She had been waiting for over an hour for the service truck to come and help her.

I bought this to use on my van as the battery is sporadically dead at random times.... not sure why it's happening. Probably has something to do with the fact it's a 1996. I got tired of asking random strangers for a jump so I searched Amazon and found this hunk of garbage. I thought, "wow! Great deal! Easy to use, has good reviews, what else is there to consider!?" So after it arrived I ironically found myself not needing to use it right away. It's okay tho because now I am prepared for if and when the inevitable happened. I had purchased a new battery for my van also and things were great for a few weeks. No issues with starting her up..... nice. However, flash forward to yesterday morning, I turned the ignition and NOTHING. I can't even get the doors to lock. My battery was COMPLETELY DRAINED. Why? Not a clue but I didn't trip because I had my trusty new car jumper buddy in the back to help get me going. First time using it, best to read directions..... even tho duh, its super simple stuff. I follow those directions to a T but im getting nothing. Nada. Zip, zilch! It says 100% in the little power window but it's not giving me any power. No flashing lights even. Just a little window mocking me with it's 100% juice that it won't share with my car battery, leaving me utterly stranded, feeling dooped and out $25 or so and just a few days AFTER the deadline to return it. This is a horrible situation I've found myself in and im not sure what I can do except accept that I've been ripped off. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money on this piece of junk.... unless you're looking for a fancy paperweight.
