Can you put them in the laundry?

Yes, You can hand or machine wash your kneepads in cold water, but it is recommended to let them hang dry.

There are really only 2 sizes, Adult and Junior. My 12 year old is 5'8" Tall and skinny- She wears the adult. I would say for 10 and under you can get away with the Junior size. Hope that helps I was not sure of your question.

I need to wear knee pads to bed but can't stand anything super tight. Are these loose enough that I can do that?

I am sorry to tell you they would not be comfortable in bed. At least, I would not wear them to bed. They are great for kneeling on tile or wood floors when cleaning, etc. I would not like anything tight around my joints when in bed trying to sleep.
