Ulanzi UA20 20W Bi-Color Inflatable Tube Light, Portable Handheld Magnetic 2700K to 6500K CRI 95+ Air Video Streaming Light 1/4" Mount Photography Lighting Stick

Just received this and already feel compelled to review it. Of course, if it doesn't hold up to the test of time, I'll update, but out of the box, I'm super pleased. Yet again, Ulanzi did not disappoint. Like many of their items, it's genius. It's everything I hoped it would be. What did I hope it would be? A lightweight option for extra lighting that's easy to travel with. I won't be using it for a lot of photography, but I will be using it for nice, diffused lighting, mostly in cruise cabins, hotel rooms, etc., where there is never good lighting for hair and makeup. I've been taking the Ulanzi light stick along for this, and it works really well, but this will be even BETTER for travel. The magnetic component will be especially useful in a cruise cabin (which has metal walls). I intend to use it for photography, too, though. Maybe even tomorrow. I went out last Sunday, to take pics of my daughter, and after I lost the afternoon lighting, we pulled out the Ulanzi light stick. But I had to bring along a rolling cart mostly just to hold the light stick due to its length. With this, however, I won't need to do that. It folds up all nice and small and weighs very little. I'm not good at blowing things up, so I was legitimately shocked when I was able to blow this up in like 3 seconds. To deflate it took about as long. Super easy to use. I'm so glad I ordered it.

Perfect portable light . Battery last long on medium power . Tested it on high power and last a good hour . Extremely bright for dark events and you need a boost. I used it to add a few stops of light to my Sony a7s3 for slog

These lights are extremely useful for someone who need portable source of light for their video production. You probably need minimum of two as the max light output is 20Watt, When shooting in dark environments they are enough for basic interview style videos, or as a fill, or background light during day scenes. Its portability is the key here. They have digitally controlled light temperature, so all of them can be set at the same light temperature and for me they keep the color same between all of mine. They have light output controlled independently from color temperature, so it's a big plus, not like others where you need to adjust cold and warm leds separately. They very light and small when stored. A plus is a safety on setting on the controller where you need to hold power button for minimum of 3 seconds to turn light on. Anyway I recommend to keep the not fully charged during travel, or at least set them to minimum light output before storing them, as if they accidentally turn on when they are folded, leds can be hot enough to melt plastic. They are intended to be used fully inflated. One more recommendation, Use air pump (not supplied :( ), not your mouth to inflate them as moisture in the human breath can accumulate over time inside the tube and corrode electronics. Build quality looks good enough, but time will show how long they last. If I do not need to deflate them, I keep them inflated to prevent unnecessary folding back and forth. Recommended for portable use, or for someone with little storage space.

I purchased this item to help with a photoshoot in a library, where we couldn't use flash, didn't have access to a ton of space for setting up lights so being able to pack this small light into my camera bag and inflate quickly on site was amazing! I've only used this once at the time of this review, but excited to try it again in another upcoming location session so we'll see how it holds up, but so far: it was powerful enough to light up the subject perfectly even in darker areas of the library and the battery life outlived the photo session time which ran about 2 hrs, and still plenty of battery power left. The price point was great and overall I was really impressed with this light!!

Easy to use even for someone w no experience with lighting equipment. I just came back from a two week trip and this was perfect to fit on my backpack. I am planning to buy more.

A must have for all solo videographers, it's very compact, easy to put anyway, and also the option to connect to any powerbank by USB c

Me encanta esta luz, sin embargo, tengo curiosidad por el repuesto magnético de 1/4” gracias al cual se puede poner la luz en un soporte y no encuentro repuesto para eso en caso de perderlo. ¿Qué podría poner en reemplazo de ese accesorio si se pierde? No encuentro que Ulanzi u otros la vendan

Bright light and light weight, very easy to use. You can use a usbc battery bank to charge and use at the same time.

Great product highly recommend, very easy to blow up but just wish there was some kind of pump to use as I would prefer it as I need multiple users to blow it up.

I love this light. It is bright, easy to setup and provide high quality light for filming. The magnets built-in is strong and makes mounting it so easy. Took it on a 3 week RV roadtrip and works like a charm. If Ulanzi expands on this range I would certainly be in line for it. Fantastic if you need need to travel light. Wish list is a bigger battery for longer run time.

Suprised by this light.. I'm a working creative in the music industry - music videos, social content and photography.. this light is going to be my saving grace, I've played around with it for the last 24 hours and I am amazed by the quality of light, portability, weight and setup time. Pros: 1. Lightweight 2. Small Footprint ( can fit in your pocket when collapsed ) 3. setup time 2 breaths and you're ready to go. 4. Output time—The little screen on the back of the light will tell you how much time you have left, depending on the percentage you have it set on. 5. Magnetic—The built-in magnets will help in most outdoor or even indoor situations where you need to hide a light or just need somewhere else to place it. Cons: 1. I wish they made a larger higher output light but this seems to be doing the job. Overall - I think this light is going to be part of my everyday kit, I may even order a few more. I'll be using this light on music videos, weddings & corporate events. After a week or two of using, I'll be posting a full review. This light has me excited.
