Cost will be higher
Well, this is the way to go for low sugar. Recipes will require purchase of more fruit so, except for diabetics, I can't see this as a staple.

Generally a good product.
The product works well. However,I ordered 2 jars of it and one arrived all caked and solid. Not granular. Amazon will not replace it or refund it.

Worked very well
It did a super job. I made peach jam with NO sugar. Husband tested it just before bottling and approved. Neither of us care for really sweet jams. Ya can't taste the fruit

This product worked well, no sugar for one batch and low on the next..turned out great..i recommend this product to have on hand..cheaper then buying 4 or 5 packages

Great product - not great price!
I just made the most amazing tasting, seedless blackberry jam with this product. Very impressed. My only complaint is the price, compared to regular pectin this is very, very inflated. Also just looked at online retailers and it costs less than half of Amazon's price. I should have looked retail before the easy Amazon way. :(

Jam Without Added Sugar
The best thing is that you can make jam without copious amounts of sugar. My blueberry jam recipe called for 3tbsps of the pectin. The result was quite runny. I opened all the jars and cooked the blueberries again with an additional tbsp of the pectin. The result was less runny. I put one jar in the fridge and the rest in the pantry. Much to my surprise, the jam thickened in the fridge. I’m very pleased with the final jam and will increase the amount of pectin when I make my next batch of jam. Great product and I will be ordering more.

Jam sets up with less sugar
My favorite pectin! I make all my jams with it and I love how I can have less sugar in my jam and it still sets up perfectly. I have been using it for 2 years now and it is the only pectin I buy.
