With all the confusion about whether to get the "S" or cheaper non-"S" version, I decided to take the risk and purchase this cheaper model. There is a lot of marketing on BMW parts, and I'm a frugal buyer. :-) Besides the laborious 4 hours it took to replace the 2 spark plug nearest the passenger side, this set works wonderfully. These appear to be the same dimensions as the original bmw bosch plugs. The box indicates .032" gap but I measured .028" on 5 of 6 plugs. The 6th plug measured at .030"; I ended up adjusting this down to .028". For comparison, my old OEM plugs all measured .034" at 85K miles. I've only put ~50 miles on the new plugs so far, but I've noticed that the 1st to 2nd gear hesitation is now gone. I've also seen a 1mi/gal increase in my normal highway commute, but it might have been a fluke... Acceleration remains unaffected as far as I can tell.
