I use this to store all my Bernina sewing machine feet. Lid latches are secure and compartments are perfect for the feet. The case is compact and fits easily inside my sewing machine rolling tote bag. I have had it for several years and it has held up very well. I repurchased this item now to give as a gift to a sewing friend who loved my box when she saw it.

Long time cross stitcher and this is my favorite box for my bobbins. The latches on this are really smooth where other boxes I've used were aggressive and pinched my fingers. The actual size is perfect for multiple bobbins per area and I love that the area size is customizable so I can have fewer separations.

For the price, I think this has become my go-to model. Does not suffer from many common ailments of other designs. Below are some extra details and tips I wanted to know before buying (pertains to the 14"x9" model): - There are small registration ridges on the underside for stacking. Nothing serious, but should maintain a short tower. - Rear side has feet that match the size of the hinges, allowing the box to stand upright. - No living hinges to deteriorate/snap. Both the main lid hinges and front latches are "pin-in-cradle" style - Lid hinges are indeed detachable. Open the lid, and press it downwards. - Material thickness of the lid is 1.5mm (not measured over a ridge) - Clearance between the top of the dividers and the underside of the lid appears to be <= 1mm on my unit. Decent for small parts. - Came with 18 divider plates that were indeed the captive style. They will retain the horizontal walls when under tension. - Main horizontal dividers are integral to the floor of the box, not floating. They have a radius at this joint. - For the sticker residue on the lid, I've found it best to rip the label off quickly. If there are any spots of residue left, you can re-apply a corner of the sticker, and rip it off again to remove more residue. I did this ~4 times, and the box is now clean. Using the same adhesive against itself seems to do the trick.

Decent box, but a little flimsier than I hoped for.

Happy to have a home for my Nora Fleming Minis. Lighter weight and cheaper than the box directly from NF and looks like you can have 2 in some of the compartments. Looks like a tackle box but it works for me!!

Love them. I bought 2 at first to try out and then bought 2 more. I'm re-organizing my gemstones for my jewelry business alphabetically to make it easier for me to find what I need. These work well with the included plastic dividers. I would buy them again.

An organizer tall enough for upright floss bobbins. I like the removable inserts. I would say the columns are little wide for bobbins except that it's just enough space too slide a bobbin in on the side when I accidentally do up a repeat color! The plastic seems sturdy but flexible enough not to break the first time you drop it, though luckily I haven't had to test that. Also, time will tell if the plastic stays that way. The latches latch firmly. In short, refreshingly functional. Again, may I extol the fact that it's tall enough for upright bobbins. I can read the color numbers!!!

petite boite très mignonne compartimentée, de très bonne qualité et à première vue pratique. j'y ai mis mes crayons, et là pas moyen de les déloger. elle est trop profonde et il n'y pas assez de place pour mettre ses doigts de chaque côté du crayon pour l'attraper, pourtant j'ai doigts assez petits. Il y a 2 séparation, s'il n'en y avait qu'une seule ça aurait été parfait. il y a des séparations en plus pour pourvoir compartimenter en toutes petites cases pour ranger des boutons ou des perles.
