While I only just received these rests they are exactly what I have been looking for. I have the harbor freight 10"x18" lathe and have used it for 2 years and these fit the holder perfectly. They are perfectly 5/8 and will work great for the small bowls that I make. The rails are very smooth and let scrapers, and other tools slide on them very smoothly. I'm excited to out these to use.

Ok starter set.
Smooth surface to run gouges on. "L" shaped rests can't reach in very deep on narrow bowls because angled brace hits edge of bowl.

Great Set
This fits beautifully on my lathe. It is nice to use, and feels good during use. Well worth the investment for this tool rest set.

Worked really well.
Worked great for turning bowls. You could get in closer to the workpiece with these, which helped eliminate the chance of grabbing and tear out. They are constructed well.

They work OK..
My set needed a little fine tuning when I got them.. and the plating is chipping off two of them.. I don't use them all the time but it is nice to have a variety of shapes for my smaller machine.

A good sturdy product

decent rests.
I wanted a curved tool rest for bowls that pushed the limits of my midi lathe. The 10" one that came with the lathe was just too short and left me hanging way over the rest on large pieces. Really only wanted the largest one but bought the kit. Price talks. Worked well for my purposes.
