Trying to make sense of this product. do all of the capsules contain all of the listed ingredients? shouldn't 5-htp be avoided prior to and during?

Yes, the capsules hold all ingredients. Our suggested use is one serving both days before the event. It is not suggested to take it during the event. It is recommended to take it before bed if you are attending a multi-day festival. 5HTP has a very short half life, meaning that it will be out of your system in a couple hours. We suggest taking it before bed the night be before the event. You will want to take 5HTP post roll to increase serotonin levels back to normal. All of our other ingredients are specifically chosen to work in combination with each other for maximum potency. You need antioxidants to protect your body from harmful free radicals and vitamins for faster recovery.

Do you take this before and after or just after? If I'm going to a three day festival (rave) do I take it after each day?

You take 3 pills per day all at once. The bottle suggest starting 2 days prior and going 2 days after the event.I personally take 3 before I go to sleep after the event, then 3 for each of the next two days. Don't take them on an empty stomach as you'll feel very nauseated for an hour or two.

I wanted to try this product A couple times before leaving a review and let me tell you that I’m almost done with the bottle and it have worked every single time. I took it as directed and it have saved me for the usual post techno party hungover, also no neck pain, jaw tension (I usually take magnesium as well to help with this), no heat waves the next day, barely any headache. It is truly amazing and I’ll keep using it before any party!
