Arrived quickly and packed very well. Very nice mix of mushrooms, and they are sliced in good sizes for using without more cutting. Plump up nicely and quickly. A little expensive, but I will buy again.

So, I have to admit, this did take a bit to get the hang of. There are several dehydration time for the different mushrooms in the paxk. It arrives sealed inside a vacuum sealed outer bag. The smell us earthy goodness once opened. The taste is fabulous when added to different dishes. It is a great, economical way to get a variety, rather that buying each individual dried mushroom variety on its own. I will be buying more!

What an excellent product! Easily 8-10 servings in each package. Soak in water for an hour, rinse, loosely chopped, quick 1-minute fry and paired with smoked chicken, Recaito, and farmer's cheese on flatbread. Absolutely delish!

There’s some really dirty once’s in there and the dirt is hard to clean off after they’ve dried out. Over all they have good flavor. Would have been 5 stars if there wasn’t so much dirt still on the mushrooms, just throws off the texture. Sturdiness and ease of use, doesn’t take them long to soften up in the boil. I would say good value for your money if there wasn’t so much dirt.

Are you a mushroom lover like me? If so this is a very nice pantry item for when fresh mushrooms are a trip to the store away, and you have time to soak them properly. 2 things I learned from my first foray into dried mushrooms. 1) The instructions say to soak them for at least 40 min. I found that insufficient. Overnight works well. We can probably be happy with a few hours but those experiments are ongoing. 2) 5oz of dried mushrooms is a LOT. My first soaking was about half a bag which was enough for a pan of pasta sauce, a few mushroom omelets and some left over for snacking. I like them enough to be on my subscribe and save deliveries

I love 'shrooms and was excited about this blend. BUT, even after soaking for the required time, AND after soaking further in my leftover soup, the mushrooms were too wide a variety to have an even bite. Some were fibrous, others were chewy and there were some that were bland and mushy. I would not buy again.

This mixture is predominately the Wood Ear variety. The few other mushrooms in the mixture were shitake mushrooms and very few oyster or porcini mushrooms. Those that were in the mixture were very small and difficult to soften by soaking. I did my best to use them for my recipe, but I will not repeat an order for this item.
