SYLVOX 50 Inch Outdoor TV, 4K UHD HDR 10, IP56 Weatherproof Smart Google TV

I have only been using this tv for a couple of days now and it appears to be an excellent product. The picture is lovely and easy to set up. You can see the screen fine even when it is very bright outside. It is under my gazebo. My only concern is the wind as it is on a tv stand. Came quickly and well packaged.!

Great outdoor tv. Trust me, I had an indoor tv outside under a patio, had to tear apart and rebuild the disc’s, only to have them fall off again. Threw out the 60” indoor tv and bought this Sylvox 50”. Wow what a difference, well made and decent price. Have a Roku and took a minute to program the remote. So worth the headache, stress and costs! Wish I would have taken the plunge last summer! I have a translucent covered patio and could have bought the full sun, but didn’t fit the budget. This one works great for my needs!!

Nicely built unit

This TV was 3 - 5 times as expensive as comparable non-outdoor rated TVs, but it has been working great for us so far. And hopefully this will prevent us from going through a bunch of non-outdoor rated TVs. We have ours on a covered porch that gets indirect sunlight, and this TV is plenty bright enough. It has a high viewing angle, meaning that you can see clearly from almost any angle. And both the TV and remote are weather sealed. They've been out in a few rainy conditions already, with no impact whatsoever. It has built in WiFi and Bluetooth, but also has several HDMI and USB inputs. I wish there was more support for apps (I had to order a Fire Stick to install the Xfinity and Xbox apps), but most of the big name apps can be installed on the native Google TV OS.

Absolutely fantastic TV! I’ve never had an actual outdoor TV and what a difference! The picture is way brighter than indoor TVs and the sound is audible without turning it all the way up. I purchased an outdoor rated Furrion first because the price was better but quickly discovered it was not smart, had black lines on the screen right out of the box and the remote felt like I would break it if I pushed a button. Immediately repackaged it and returned it. I found this TV after more research and pulled the trigger. After unpackaging, the set up took about 10 minutes and another 10 to mount it. Picture is very sharp and crystal clear, sound quality is fine for my usage (sports, NASCAR, and basic TV). TV and remote both feel very sturdy and appear to be high quality. Size was exactly as ordered and overall seems to be well worth the money. 5 stars and would definitely purchase again!

Its locked up on me a couple of times and becomes screens that are solid colors until you reboot it. Tempted to send back.

I would give 5 stars if I had not already encountered an issue with the TV playing audio, but not displaying any video. The guide or home screen would display properly on the TV but when trying to play any live TV, the screen would stay completely black. The solution was to, you guessed it, unplug it and plug it back in, which corrected the problem but idk what caused it and/or when it’ll happen again. While in 50% direct sunlight the TV is OK to see but is not great- I see why the full sunlight models are 3x the cost. I’ll definitely be putting some kind of awning over it in the near future. Picture when it’s dusk or dark is excellent, the screens brightness needs to be adjusted depending on time of day- @ night it’s as low as 5- while 50% direct sunlight (most we have where ours is placed) it’s @ 100 and wish it were brighter. Easy setup out of the box and seems to be built very solid.

Iv’e only had it for a few days. It’s their base model with the lowest NITS (700 I think) but I can still see it fine in sunlight. In partial like on a shaded patio it’s super bright. It has a fan, which surprised me. This model (43 inch) is not that heavy, 32 lbs and is built like a freakin’ tank. Like you don’t want this falling on your foot. The speakers project backwards so keep in mind if wall mounting. They are loud enough to me but I bought a cheap soundbar which works great. I have it on a small rolling stand so we can easily reposition it depending where we are sitting. It’s smaller size/weight make it a snap to roll around the patio! The google OS is sweet and the mic button on the watertight remote (4 screws on battery cover) lets you control all your google devices and interact with Gemini through the TV. Getting an HDMI cable into the connector takes a good light source as the port is way up in there and HDMI cables aren’t known for how smoothly they go into tight spaces…ports are covered by a metal plate and attached w/4 thumb screws. Remember folks, it ain’t an OLED display, but it’s damned good outdoor TV. So far very happy with the purchase. The first pic is under the patio sun behind. 2nd is direct sunlight. Still not bad. If you want brighter than that in direct sunlight it’s $$$.
