Nabu Casa Home Assistant, Green

I really like the Nabu Casa Home Assistant Green. The hardware is solid, silent, and performs well - it runs Home Assistant smoothly and feels like a proper, dedicated smart home hub. However, mine arrived running Home Assistant Container instead of Home Assistant OS, which significantly limits functionality. Container does not support add-ons (apps) or tools like HACS, which are essential for many integrations. Once I installed Home Assistant OS, everything worked exactly as expected. Full access to add-ons, easier integration setup, and a much more complete experience overall. Important tip before you start: Make sure your device is running Home Assistant OS and not Container. HA OS gives you access to additional apps and the ability to install HACS, which enables popular integrations like Sonoff and Eufy that aren’t available on Container. If you do need to reinstall, it’s relatively straightforward using a MicroSD card and a tool like Balena Etcher - just flash the official image and boot from it. It’s also worth noting that this isn’t a "plug-and-play" system in the same way as more closed ecosystems. It’s far more powerful and flexible, but does require a bit of setup and understanding. If you’re willing to put that time in, it’s on another level.

Great device for starters. Plug in and play once paired with dongle for zigbee/ matter etc

Absolute simplicity for a new starter with Home Assistant (as I am). Plug it in and connect the network cable. That's it no other connections required. Log into it from whatever you have handy and follow the prompts then away you go. No noisy fans. It runs cold. It just works. Happy days.

The item itself is excellent. Unfortunately, Home Assistant is too complex for my needs so I returned it. My fault for not understanding the requirements and functionality before buying!

Just getting started with this, but watch out if you buy the SONOFF Universal Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus ZBDongle E Gateway with Antenna for Home Assistant (sold on Amazon) - due to the proximity of the power inlet to the USB sockets the dongle doesn't fit. You'll need a short USB extension cable.

Too expensive for what it is.. You can get same functionality by buying a cheaper alternative on mini PC

Completely Useless In my Opinion It takes about 3 PHD Degrees to figure everything out. Looks great on YouTube videos but its taken me several hours just to turn a few lights on. and now i cant access it at all, I've had to reboot everything. I've only had it about 6 hours. I only use Tapo and Ring. and Alexa Devices and they all work fine together. If you cant access the home Assistant hub its about as useful as a tea coaster. And at £140 its going back first thing in the morning. Im not denying it cant do more functions but good luck figuring it out. Unless you have got experience in writing Code and you want it to specific things then its pretty pointless. even more so if it actually wont work when you need it to.

Conforme à la description, look plutôt sympa et l’implémentation de smart home est aussi paramétable que la version logicielle. BAckup prévu, mise en route rapide. Détecte facilement les appareils matter (prises, multiprises) et affiche bien les consommations énergétiques (si le matériel interfacé le fait) mois j’ai interfacé avec Merros et aucun soucis…

Lo utilizzo da tempo per controllare l'utilizzo della produzione dei pannelli, accendendo nei momenti giusti gli scaldabagni e la pompa di calore a supporto del riscaldamento. In estate lo userò per accendere la pompa della piscina quando ci sarà il sole. Si riesce a governare bene anche le variazioni rapide di insolazione in giornate parzialmente nuvolose.

Love it, discovery allowed me to import things I never thought of. (Like my hot tub) I am hoping to make some triggers to turn up the heat before I leave work. It’s already made my life better. Super easy to install and configure but allows you to dig deep and go in depth. Worth every penny. Just wish product manufacturers

Ich habe mir die Home Assistant Green kürzlich ins Haus geholt und bin bisher echt begeistert. Der kleine Kasten ließ sich schneller einrichten als ich gedacht hatte – einfach Strom und LAN dran, ein paar Minuten später war das System startklar. Besonders gut gefällt mir, dass man sich nicht erst endlos mit Hardware-Konfiguration herumschlagen muss: Die Box bringt das Betriebssystem vorinstalliert mit, das spart mir Zeit und Nerven. Auch der Stromverbrauch ist minimal – laut Tests im Leerlauf nur rund 1,7 W. Klar, es gibt ein paar Einschränkungen: Wenn man viele Protokolle wie Zigbee oder Z-Wave nutzen will, braucht man noch zusätzliche USB-Sticks. Für mein Smart-Home mit vielen Geräten ist das akzeptabel – ich spare mir dafür eine aufwändige Eigenbau-Lösung. Fazit: Wenn man wie ich ein solides Zentrum für Smart-Home-Automatisierungen möchte – das läuft, stabil ist und wenig Aufwand macht – dann ist diese Lösung eine starke Wahl. Ich würde sie wieder kaufen.
