Shake HARD and LONG for the full 30 seconds or you will get different quality of spray at the start and at the end. STAY BACK 8-16 inches so that the foam can full expand and get fluffy right as is hits the wall. If you are too close you will get thick foam that is more likely to fall or drip down and smear, using more product and wasting money. You will also have to go back and forth more often giving you a lumpy final results. Buy 50 percent more than expected to make sure you can fill in the cavities fully. Then cut any excess past the studs with a large very sharp knife, and sand the joists with a vibrating sander so that the drywall goes on smooth. The final results are awesome. Great sound deadening and thermal insulation benefits. And to be frank a little bit fun to spray. WARNING - The cleanup spray will leave burn spots on your plastic lens glasses so keep them protected!

Love this stuff but its hard to get in the rimjoist, it needs a longer disharge wand.

UPDATE to my previous review: The company finally replaced the 6 cans that were bad. Although it took a month and a half to get the replacements, it finally happened and I appreciate that. The replacement cans worked flawlessly as directed. I updated the review to 4 stars and not 5 because there was an issue with 6 of the 12 cans, but the company made good on the bad cans. I ordered a 12 pack and they were packed in a single box which had 6 cans in their own box. The first 6 cans worked fine. The second box of 6 were all bad. No pressure to spray. The foam just dribbled out. I called the company and they said they would submit to their warehouse to check the Lot number and replace if necessary. I called back 4 more times over the coarse of a month and nothing was done. I wasted my money since half the order did not work. I am disappointed in this product and what turned out to be a not very helpful company.

This stuff is amazing and a more economical choice for the small area we needed to seal and insulate (versus the large closed-cell insulation foam systems). It was easy to install and covered well. It might be how we applied it, but we needed more product than I had calculated, so don't be shy to order a little more than you think you will need.

Super easy to use and the foam expands pretty thick! The size of the can is larger than i expected and best bang for your buck. I only bought 2 cans and was able to cover this area pretty thick so it covers pretty good.

This is an absolutely terrible product! Kraken customer service is terrible and of no help! Beware multiple people who purchased this have has issues. Many of the cans did not discharge anything. They state the coverage is 240 feet. That is completely false. I tried reaching their customer service and explained this needed to be resolved quickly as this was a time sensitive construction product. They took 2 days to respond each time and would come back with one question at a time. DO NOT GET THIS PRODUCT! WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY
