As an avid Tea Head (is that a term?), I thought I had heard and tried almost every tea possible but you learn something new everyday. After hearing about this tea on Dr. Rhonda Patrick’s podcast and it’s many benefits including an abundance in quercetin, I decided to give it a go. Never having had it in Japan, I can’t comment on that but this is a seemingly good brand. It is a nuttier taste than I’m used to in my teas, it reminds me a bit of dandelion root. Health benefits aside, this is an interesting tea and I’ll no doubt keep it in my rotation. Pro tip: this may go against the traditional way it’s supposed to be served but I enjoy iced tea and I found when pairing this with some peppermint tea it makes for a wonderful, chilled delight!

Definitely quality buckwheat tea. Tastes really good and fresh. Also it comes with 50 nice tea bags for you to brew it in. The tea bags are really easy to use and are nicely made.

OK, this is pretty tasty Buckwheat tea. And, I love tea, black, green, whatever. I particularly like, the very unusual buckwheat tea. I have purchased this in Japan, I think it was a restaurant near Osaka, and really, really loved it. This Chinese variation is pretty good, not quite up to the standards of that one, sadly unnamed, restaurant. However, a good buy for a unique tea.

Taste is not as strong as some reviews state, but it is a pleasant tasting drink. It is mildly nutty. I actually needed more of it to make it stronger so I won't get as many servings out of a bag as stated, but that's on me. Got it for it's health benefits anyway.

I loved the 50 bags that came with the loose tea, I loved the scent and the lovely flavor. It was so delicious and relaxing as a substitute for an alcohol beverage after work each evening. However, much to my disappointment, I began itching shortly after drinking a mug. I tried it three days in a row. I did not see a rash anywhere on my body, just felt the itchiness and a weird uneasy feeling. I tried to return the product, but was denied. I did not remember reading that it was not returnable.
