what is the duty cycle

Dear customer, the air compressor is 25minutes duty cycle @ 40PSI

How is this unit different from the other very similar looking units (e.g. Stop & Go 2100 Portable 12 Volt Air Compressor) that seem to be failing?

1st time I bought one like this, and love it so far. Reinflate my tires from 20 to 45 pounds in 8 minutes. Carl

I haven't seen anything in the description saying it is but I don't think the unit would be damaged if it got a little rain on it. As with any other electrical equipment, I wouldn't expose it to water if possible. It does seem like a well-built unit but haven't had the chance to use it yet.
