Ah, nostalgia. It works just as well as I remember. Nothing quite like a spritz of water and a fan on you in the Arizona summer heat. Love it. Blades are not sharp.

On really hot days, I fill this water misting fan with ice water and take it outside with me! It sure does feel refreshing and really cools me off! My husband takes it to ball games!

Knocking off a star because the lid won’t stay shut on the battery part, which causes the batteries to continuously fall out. You have to tape it down with good masking/duct tape. The fan and mister works great though!

Great product for a theme park!

I really don’t understand where they get off charging so much for this product! I opened the cover to place the batteries and the metal contact on the inside cover completely came right off. This is the third one of these I’ve bought and it’s just as cheap as the first two I bought a few years ago. I don’t know why they can’t get the cover to the battery compartment to be better quality. I literally have to wrap rubber bands around the compartment so it doesn’t pop open and batteries go flying everywhere. There’s really not a better product on the market unfortunately. So I’m stuck with this one. We use it as a way to cool down the kids when they’re on a hot bus at summer camp. It works as it’s supposed to as long as the batteries haven’t fallen out because of the poor quality of the cover.

It's functional enough for the price, but there are just some rather bizarre design choices that I wasn't aware of when I purchased this unit. First off, the battery slot has an extremely weak plastic tab holding the compartment closed. It's so weak that the compartment opens all on it's own if you move the unit around in your hand even a little bit. A bit of tape as others suggested fixed this issue for the most part. The second problem is with how you fill the water reservoir. Some genius decided that the standard detachable reservoir was just too functional I guess and so they decided to made the bottom of the bottle a screw cap instead. In other words you have to turn the unit upside down, unscrew the bottom of the base and then pour water into the reservoir. This is problematic for at least two glaringly obvious reasons. 1. You WILL spill some water over the edge while filling because it is awkward to hold. Normally this isn't a problem with a detached reservoir because you just wipe it off, but there is a battery compartment downstream from the reservoir when you turn it upside down, and it has open holed allowing water to easily get in there from any spills you might make. Needless to say, tap water and electronics do not mix well and this is a terrible design decision as a result. 2. If you accidentally break the seal on the bottom cap after filling, all the water will come pouring out. There's a reason why almost all liquid containers open from the top and not the bottom, to avoid this very problem. It's cheap and it's technically functional, but you have to work with it a bit to get it there. Do not leave with young kids without supervision, because water + battery generally leads to corrosion and leakages.

Love the fun colors and the size of the water tank. The downside to this product, like others shared, is the durability overtime. We purchased in 2023 for a Disney trip. My kid LOVED it, so much that even after Disney he asked to use it often. Before we finished the week at Disney, one of the fans already had the battery compartment falling open and one of the bottles leaking water. HOWEVER, they held up well enough for the trip and kept us cool. The battery life was sufficient. The air speed was great, and the mist of the water kept us cool in Florida’s summer heat. I would recommend this product, and I’m purchasing again now. For the value you get, it’s well worth the cost, even if you have to replace it for the next trip. Did I mention I was pregnant!? It was hot! These fans were MVPs

purchased it last month. the fan operated well for 15 days. now only the blades rotate but it does not circulate air. poor quality, stopped functioning within 1 month
