I am someone who relies heavily upon various supplements to assist with my overall health, well-being and fitness goals. A lot of times I’m running on empty so an energy drink is usually my go to choice, but I don’t like drinking a whole one. So when five hour energy started selling products I Started using them immediately. I like the way they make me feel and there’s no hard crash afterwards. I’ve tried different brands but when this sport version was released, I decided I would go ahead and give it a try. And I’m very glad that I did. Aside from the fact that it tastes much better than most any pre-workout, the effect that it gives me is slow and steady And lasts for quite a while. It does not make me jittery, and it does not make me crash hard afterwards. It’s the perfect size shot to take and if you think about the price of an energy drink then this price point is very fair for the amount of bottles you receive. So if energy in a bottle of something that you need then look no further. This is another great product from another great company! I hope my review helps you to make a more well informed decision.

Surprisingly good, could definitely tell the difference between this and the regular 5 hour energy. Nice option to have for working out, but probably not ideal for everyday use.

I work 50 hours a week at my job and dont always have time to make coffee before work. Not to mention, coffee just doesn't give me the energy that it used to. If anything it just makes me even more tired because of sugar crash. These 5 hour energy's pack a lot of punch. They are defiantly not for everybody as they are really strong with 200 mg of caffeine in one bottle. They taste good for an energy shot. I consume a ton of caffeine , and these do the job for me. I know that these are more for working out, but you can use them just for an energy boost like any other caffeine / Vitamin B12 Product. I recommend this to people who are not sensitive to caffeine. I will say that if energy drinks, shots, or pills make you jittery or "shaky", then this will defiantly do that to you as well. Good product though.

I am very familiar with 5 hours energy. I started drinking them since I was a college student. It’s a very effective and efficient way to boost my status. After a long day learning or working, a quick boost kick is very necessary. It improves my performance during the workout and the games. Keeping a sharp mind and focusing is a key not to get injured during the sports. So 5 hours energy is a good choice. I also carry one bottle in my car, just in case a long distance drive will make me feel sleepy. But there is a concern, for example, I really don’t recommend drink this shot if you already have one or two strong coffees for the day. To me, too much caffeine will make my heart palpitating. And don’t consume one if you already have a heartburn or a nausea stomach. This drink will only make it worse. The flavor of the drink is tolerable. I think because it’s sugar, it tastes sourer than I thought. 55 dollars seems a lot of money, but it actually only 2.29 dollars per count, it’s a good deal.

I like that for this formula they use a mix of caffeine and B vitamins. If you're more accustomed to super strong and sugary drinks like Monster, this might not have the same amount of kick to it that you're use to. But I personally prefer this to those other drinks because they're not really something you'd think of drinking pre-workout. And I'm not into the protein shakes at all. So this is perfect for me. A boost of energy without tons of carbonation, sugar or a watery shake to drink.

Hubby is the energy drink fan. Even though he's somewhat sensitive to caffeine, And limits his consumption to days when he does not otherwise have coffee. Hubby was very pleased with this product; he said that the flavor was highly palatable, citrus flavors that were very reminiscent of a popular Orange drink. Normally, if he consumed this allowance of caffeine, he has difficulty sleeping come bedtime. He took it as 6:30 in the morning and was in bed asleep by 9:30pm. He really likes this product and said it would be worth getting again in the future. The flavor and lack of a caffeine crash are contributing factors.

I've seen 5 hour energy products around for a very long time and never once tried any of them. I generally avoid 250mg of caffeine any time other than right before a workout. But as this product is aimed directly at working out - I figured I'd tried it out. My first usage was mid afternoon on a day I had slept poorly and felt run-down and tired. I drank half a bottle. I never got tired all day. I had expected to need a short nap but nope, never even got close to that level of tiredness. I then tried a full bottle pre-workout and I honestly thought it wasn't doing anything at all as I felt nothing. But at the gym I actually had a solid workout and had energy and even some extra focus. The product appears to provide me with a very clean, non jittery energy that just keeps me going and allows me to work out a bit harder without really getting in the way if that makes any sense. The flavor is OK. It's kinda a tropical citrus chemically thing that is not too bad but not great either. It's easy to take half a bottle, the full bottle starts getting a bit "meh" to swallow - but it isn't too bad. Definitely nothing close to the enjoability of many pre workouts I've taken - but those were all powders and not shots like this. Price is a bit high - flavor is meh - but the product works in a way I've never really felt before... so I am giving it 4* just for that.
