This stuff is delicious!!!! I had to stop drinking coffee, (doctor's advice), and Postum is a wonderful replacement for my hot morning beverage, I use coffee creamer from the cold case in grocery store, and enjoy Postum every morning. I also like a cup at night, while watching TV. It's caffeine-free, so that is another plus. It might sound kind of pricey, but I think it is worth it for me because I was missing a hot drink in the mornings. I buy the large bag of it, and then transfer a portion into a jar with screw-on lid. I reseal the big bag and store in cabinet, until I need to re-fill my jar. I can't find Postum in stores, so thank you Amazon for selling it.

Hey, if you love Postum, what can you say. It is a rich, dark roast. It does have a strong molasses taste to it, but I am good with that.

Postum is a pleasant coffee substitute that can be consumed anytime you want a warm drink without the caffeine. It doesn’t taste exactly like coffee, but it’s a pleasant roasted grain and molasses drink. It doesn’t dissolve easily like instant coffee, but needs very hot water and vigorous stirring. Unlike coffee, I drink it with a bit of milk. I like the drink, so I buy the large size which lasts me about six months. If you have never tried it, buy a small amount to see if you like it.

I was looking for a replacement for coffee. i tried many other named brands and they were horrible. I was pleasantly surprised This is very tasty. a bit earthy but absolutely taste good. i drink my coffee black. I suspect if you add cream and sugar it would be delicious

I used to drink this all the time as a kid. Then they stopped making it. I’m so glad it’s back! My grandchildren love to drink it with me. I sweeten it with a bit of pure maple syrup and a splash of milk. Tip: it’s a great digestive ;) One more thing. I’ve noticed a lot of reviews state their packages were torn or broken. This happened to me on my first order of Postum. I read that it was not returnable, however, if you open a claim and chat with a representative, and explain what you experienced, they will credit your account. That’s what I did and had it solved in one chat.

Must be the new formulation but lacking in POSTUM test from the 60's Think there was barley in the original I use several teaspoons each cut to get any flavor but makes a good alternative for a decaffeinated hot drink
