I'll be honest - I've never known the difference between Bluetooth versions. Higher is better, right? Maybe - but I know this 5.4 adaptor from Hakimonoe works great.For my test I connected 3 devices - one by one - and all were handled perfectly. A game controller, a headset and then finally a keyboard (which I normally use in 2.4gz dongle mode but it was just for testing). All worked flawlessly - no lag encountered on the audio front nor the joypad.For range - I actually fired up a YouTube video on my desktop upstairs and went downstairs to my kitchen - probably about 15m - and the connection was still perfect! I'd imagine this might depend on the headset too at that point though.At the time of writing this is £9.49 which is a good buy.

First and foremost, I was very impressed at how compact this USB Bluetooth adapter is. It is absolutely tiny!Secondly, it was very straightforward to install and use. Simply plug it into a USB port and that’s it! It’s basically plug and play!Thirdly, it seems to work really well, and has good range as well with Bluetooth headphones.Overall, very impressive little Bluetooth adapter, highly recommended!

Obtained through Amazon Vine and installed into an internal USB port inside my self built PC.Windows 11 recognised it immediately and installed what it needed and then I was able to connect my phone to my PC via Bluetooth so that I could call out using my phone. Not really used it for much else as I have few Bluetooth devices but I am happy with this item.

Using this on a PC at work which were using just for streaming music. We need a Bluetooth dongle on the PC so it could stream to the local Bluetooth speakers we have in the premises.This was very easy to install, performance is great and sound quality is perfect. My new printer could be used with a USB cable or Bluetooth. Trouble is, I wanted the printer over the other side of my office and the PC had no Bluetooth.This adapter is an easy solution. You can read all the specs in the ad but the important thing is it is easy to install and, quite simply, it just works.Easy setup too. Upgrades don't get much easier!

I got this because my brand new PC build has a motherboard with onboard bluetooth but it apparently just hates Apple AirPods and just disconnects, crashes, fails, etc. constantly when I have them connected but has no issues with any of my other bluetooth headsets or keyboards/mice but since I prefer my AirPods to any other headset, I REALLY wanted to make it work so I gave this a shot.Setup is really straightforward - you have to disable your existing bluetooth adapter in Device Manager (if you have one) which can be a pain if you're using a bluetooth mouse and keyboard like I am so a good note here is to MAKE SURE you have a wired mouse/keyboard OR one that uses it's own dongle available - just anything that's not bluetooth because you will need to disable bluetooth before you plug this guy in the first time.If you're on Windows 7 you need to install drivers first, but if you're on Win 10/11 it will auto-install drivers immediately when you plug it in so it's very much plug and play. I got it connected and setup fully in about 5 minutes and it's been doing excellent with my AirPods so far. The issue that occurs with the crashing is very random but I feel like I've tested it enough to say that it has fixed my issue, however if it does NOT and I do get a crash while using this adapter later, I will update this review for anyone who comes back to read this in the future that may have the same problem.Overall, great purchase and for the $14ish that it costs, totally worth it to add the latest bluetooth standard to your PC.

This device worked exactly as expected and was very stable as it should be since it is using the newest Bluetooth 5.4 standard. It appears to be using a Realtek Bluetooth chipset, which gives me more confidence. Although this has a very long range as per the technical specs of Bluetooth 5.4, when I tested this with my Windows 10 system playing music, a modern Bluetooth headset listening to the music, and going through one wall, one window, and some bushes, I was able to get between 30 and 35 feet feet of range. But it was a rock-solid stable up to that distance. For my purposes this was more than adequate. The fewer objects you go through the better range you will get. Of course, all the companies that sell these devices tout the theoretical range possible, but in reality, unless you are in the middle of the Sahara Desert with no other devices around you and clear line-of-sight between the transmitter and receiver, you will not get anywhere near the theoretical ranges.

I got this adapter for a very specific purpose, so I understand that this review may not necessarily be helpful to people intending to use this for their PC or laptop.I added this onto my Home Assistant installation via Virtual Box on my Windows PC. The device was plug and play with my Windows 11 installation and only required a couple of restarts in order to be recognized and work with my computer. The Bluetooth was immediately picked up by my VirtualBox device with the addition of access to my PC's USB ports and was able to find all my home Bluetooth appliances to connect to Home Assistant. This also gave my PC the ability to connect to my WiFi, though it can't beat the speeds that you will achieve via Ethernet connection.Solid device for only $10 dollars. I would buy again if I ever needed an easy plug-n-play Bluetooth/WiFi adapter in a pinch.

I could not be more happy with this adapter. I got a refurbished Dell laptop and only recently realized that not only was my Bluetooth not working but didn't seem to exist on my computer at all. I tried all the things online and I think it's a hardware issue but I'm not THAT tech savvy and wanted to see if an adapter would work before taking it to a computer store. This adapter truly is plug and play. I didn't have to download anything (for Windows 11), just plugged it in and instantly the Bluetooth option appeared the way it should have been all along! I hooked up my headphones and voila! Problem solved!

It was time to upgrade from Bluetooth 4.0. I appreciated that this one was inexpensive, small, unobtrusive, and not distractingly bright.I use Windows 11, and I simply plugged it in and rebooted. I had to pair my controller again, but it was quick.I installed it on my desktop computer, so I can't really test the range since most of the things I use it for are in close proximity. However, I haven't had any issues with connectivity.
