Great Value . Good and long lasting . Oudy scent.

Amazing Scent! Very powerful. This reminds me of Burberry London with more staying power. I know this is a PDM clone but it really vibes in my opinion of Burberry London. This would cut through the cold and warm people around you with this amazing frag. Perfect for winter and something that would be especially enjoyed during the cold Christmas holidays around a fireplace drinking Hot Chocolate. Go easy on the sprays!!!! This is a beast mode fragrance!! This is NOT a toy. The bottle is cheap. Wish they had put more thought in the packaging as the plastic cap is a bit of a pain to take on and off. I would say two sprays on the neck if indoors and three sprays if you are outside (one extra on the chest). I am the kind of guy that likes his fragrances to be discovered and not announced. GREAT STUFF!!!

It took me a while to write this review because I wasn't sure what to make of this fragrance. This is my first oud fragrance so I didn't know what to expect. This is a strong, oud forward, complex fragrance that might not be for everyone. The first scent that I noticed was a strong lavender citrusy sweetness; then the oud becomes prevalent. The best way I can explain oud is that it is like a warm musky woody scent; it kind of smells like sweet warm sweat TBH. This oud scent is present throughout the entire development of the fragrance but its more prevalent towards the middle of that development. Finally, a sweet woody powdery scent takes over for the rest of the fragrance's development: it's soft, warm, and pleasant. When it comes to performance, I got a solid 8+ hours of longevity with a strong sillage for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. This is a strong fragrance and you can easily overdo it. The bottle is kind of weird looking, and cap can be a bit hard to put back on ( it only goes on in one direction.) I have accidentally sprayed a couple of times while trying to put the cap back on. It's not a big deal for me, all I care about is the juice inside. At first, I didn't quite get the fragrance, its like nothing I've used before, but I ended up liking it. I would say that, if you can sample it first, do so, but at this price point I think it's worth the risk if you like oud fragrances.

I picked this up after hearing it’s a dupe for Parfums de Marly Layton. The scent is definitely in the same ballpark — sweet, spicy, with a warm vanilla and apple vibe. It’s cozy and wearable, especially in cooler weather. Performance is solid for the price. I get around 6–7 hours of wear, which is more than I expected. Projection is moderate — not a room-filler, but people close to you will notice it. That said, the opening can be a little harsh and synthetic. It settles nicely after a few minutes, but the first spray isn’t the smoothest. Also, the bottle design and sprayer feel a bit cheap.

I started purchasing clones in 2021, after getting into the Kevin Samuels experience. First came my sampling of originals from scentsplit, where I was able to compare CDN edt to Adventurous. CDM edt outperformed the C.reed og. I was intrigued. I watched a few fragrance influences, especially GentsScents and Cubaknow, and tried out some Al Haramain and lattafa. Detour Noir was an absolute winner! At one point it was completely sold out (if you can remember). I have since graduated to Amber Oud Bleu and Orientica Royal Bleu, but I occasionally come back to Detour Noir because of how it performed in the Dominican Republic :-) It's performance inspired my own performance. Hasta.

Like an apple pie with warm spices, vanilla and cardamom. Plenty of longevity and the perfect amount of projection. Can be worn year-round, but best suited for fall and winter. Smells exactly like a very popular niche fragrance that costs 20 times as much. The bottle isn't very attractive, but the atomizer and the juice inside are amazing. There's a reason this Detour Noir gets so much attention in the fragrance community.

Desde la primera pulverización, Detour Noir transmite elegancia y carácter. Es una fragancia intensa pero equilibrada, con una apertura cálida y especiada que evoluciona hacia un fondo dulce, cremoso y ligeramente amaderado. La combinación está muy bien lograda y se siente mucho más cara de lo que realmente cuesta. La duración es excelente: en piel supera fácilmente las 8 horas y en ropa permanece incluso más tiempo. La proyección durante las primeras horas es notable, dejando una estela atractiva sin resultar excesiva. Es un perfume que llama la atención y recibe cumplidos. Me parece especialmente adecuado para otoño e invierno, así como para salidas nocturnas o eventos especiales, aunque también puede usarse en el día si se aplica con moderación. Tiene una personalidad envolvente y sofisticada. Por su calidad, rendimiento y precio, merece sin duda las 5 estrellas. Una compra totalmente recomendable.

Amazing value for money. I can't compare it to Layton as I have never experienced that fragrance, but I adore the smell of Detour Noir, and definitely agree that it is much akin to apple pie with vanilla ice cream. To me it is heavenly. My first initial impression was not as positive, but after a few weeks of maceration, the scent improves immensely and to me, it is now easily one of my favourite fragrances. The bottle is hideous in design though, atomiser is great. Lasts a good amount of time on skin and on clothes.
