Per printout on printer settings upon installing new drum: Drum life at less than 50% out of box. Why?

You normally have to do a manual reset of the drum life. It is not like a toner cartridge.

i have a brother mfc 8950it uses the dr720 i read that this drum replaces the 720 will it fit in my printer?

I don't know for sure but they don't look compatible to me.

I immediately get an alert that there is a jam in the two-sided tray. There isn’t. Any ideas on how to resolve?

I had the same issue. The contact on the right side of the drum was improperly installed so that it did not complete the circuit. I received 2 drums with the same defect. Obviously there is little or no quality control. Stay away is my best advice. That is what i did after #2. No problems with a different brand.

How do I clean my hl-l6200dw. printer, which has toner that has leaked from the toner cartridge? Is there something that causes cartridges to leak?

Firstly, please use a vacuum to suck up most of toner. Then, please use a piece of cloth rinsed by alcohol (ethanol) to wipe off residual toner. Leaking the ink may be caused by the violent deliver.
