Working out great
My back yard is very uneven. I used these to level the platform under my shed (holds bikes, mower, tools, bags of soil and mulch). I added bike grease before installing which made them super easy to adjust for settling. No warping or corrosion after a year.

Lots of uses for these
My front porch is older and I have a couple younger dogs that run and jump off/on it. I've taken two of these and a 4x4 to add support. I also used a concrete block under the jacks. Works well. It's adjustable. Can be a temporary fix or long-term.
