Avishi Active Iron is an innovative bio-available iron supplement designed specifically for pigeons. Iron is a crucial component of haemoglobin, the oxygen-carrying component of the blood. Iron-deficient birds easily become anaemic due to their bodies being starved of oxygen. The iron demand increases significantly during phases of high bodily stress, like travel, breeding, and moulting. A sufficiently high haemoglobin concentration in the blood is a decisive performance factor. Haemoglobin deficiency leads to an insufficient provision of oxygen to the tissues, lowering the pigeons' resistance to disease and causing respiratory problems. To address this issue, pigeon fanciers administer iron supplements to their wards. However, most iron supplements are inorganic/chemical in nature. Avishi Active Iron, being in a bio-available form, is absorbed far better by the pigeon compared to other forms of iron. Administer 5ml Avishi Active Iron in 1 litre water or 1kg feed. For breeding and moulting periods, administer to 25 pigeons per day for one week.
