I ordered the Adhiper WH-1000XM4 Hinge Swivels + U Shaped replacement parts for a client at my repair shop, and they worked great. The parts fit the headphones perfectly and matched the original components very well. Installation was straightforward, and the repair restored the headphones to full functionality. The build quality feels sturdy and durable, making it a cost effective alternative to replacing the entire headset. Very satisfied with this purchase and would gladly use these parts again for future repairs. Highly recommended for anyone repairing Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones.

Perfect fit. No instructions. Look up tutorials on YouTube first to make life easier. The provided screwdriver are cheap and the screws on the board were torque more than hand tight for some stupid reason by the manufacturer. It destroyed the screwdriver. Luckily I had my own that did the job.

The part works just fine, but the screwdriver is made of Play-Doh. The screw ended up stripping the screwdriver and It ended up slipping while I was trying to unscrew the motherboard and it broke a piece off completely destroying my headphones what I thought was gonna be a quick and easy fix ended up costing me $250. Extremely disappointing.

Pros: The swivels fit perfectly and I can use my headphones again! Time will tell how long they hold up, but replacing them is cheaper than a new $350 pair of headphones. Cons: I ordered the 2-pack and had the left side of my headphones completely disassembled when I realized that there were 2 right swivels in my pack instead of a left and a right. I should’ve checked before I started (see pic of where the labels are), but hopefully others can learn from my mistake. Also, the screwdriver provided is a hazard more than a help because it’s not magnetic and you’ll end up losing the tiny screws. There were no video directions included, but the YouTube account Central Sound has perfect installation videos! I do a fair share of replacing and taking apart electronics, but anyone could do this with the help of their videos and a good magnetic screwdriver.

I am super pleased with the results of using this hinge replacement for my Sony xm4s because I thought I was going to have to go buy new headphones entirely. But this is the piece that’s tends to break pretty often with these headphones because it develops a lot of wearing hair from the headphone hinge, being bent constantly. It’s not a quick fix and I would carve out at minimum an hour for the repair but this comes with everything you need and you can’t tell that it’s a replacement piece because it works so well. I only need this for the right side and there are tons of videos to follow along with that make the fix super easy. I have 0 experience with repairing electronics and I’m a girly pop with acrylic nails and rheumatoid arthritis. If I can do it you can do it. $20 for a repair kit or $200 for new headphones? Easy choice

Was about to get a new pair of headphones if thos didn't work. It did work, I watched the YouTube tutorial and was able to replace the broken part on a few minutes. 5 stars.

Unfortunately I was delivered the bracket for the left side instead of the right. That said, the repair went smoothly and this part is working as intended generally (it doesn’t swivel the same way but it isn’t the biggest deal)

One day shipping and the correct parts. My headphones bit the bullet, I have two pairs of broken XM4s. One has the left side broken and the other has the right side broken. It was a perfect fit and fits excellently. I got the black instead of the silver/tan because it was one day shipping and I wanted my headphones back up as soon as possible. The flat head works as a good pry tool for all of the things that need to be pried open. The phillips head doesn't strip the screws and fits every screw needed to remove the ear cup. I had difficulty with the phillips screwdriver removing the screws on the right side ear cup. The only criticism about this kit is that the phillips head screwdriver doesn't have strong magnetism to it so, the screws will fall off of the head. Be sure to work over a desk.

1 star because it worked. But I wasted so much money. It's a peice of 5cent plastic, that are handed and have slots in them to fit on their respective sides. This kit was clearly made by someone who has no idea how this install is. First of all, a ph1 is absolutely not an electronics screwdriver. Electronics start at 0. These headphones have 00 screws, and 000screws. To even get at the hinge. And of course they give you a 1 Second, the screws are about 8mm too short. They are tinniest screws possible. Worst of all, why are they countersink machine screws? 100% useless. Third, a flat bladed screwdriver is not an acceptable prying tool. Prying tools are plastic for a reason. Fourth.......... Only gave me one retaining clip.
