Good quality tuning and great sound reproduction
This was bought to be used when working in the garden and I am pleased with the overall quality. I suppose it would have been better to have had a self-contained rechargeable battery inside instead of 4 "C" batteries, but I suppose if you are on a worksite or in a van and cant get to a power supply, it's easy to replace the batteries. Its easy to use: just screw the aerial into the top and search for DAB stations. Within a couple of moments, the radio had found a nice selection of stations and the playback quality was good. You can get FM too if you need to save power or have a weaker signal. The build quality is very good with thick rubber edges and corners to absorb bangs and knocks. Definitely useful for the garden or workshop.

Garage radio.
Ok for garage music but buttons small and not easy to see what they are for.

Too quiet.
The signal isn't great. Extremely quiet if using the aux lead as the volume on the radio doesn't turn up. The general sound is pretty quiet and can't be adjusted. The aerial broke the first day. Overall it's pretty rubbish.

Practical DAB Radio
Decent item. Robust and well padded for workplace! Very good quality reception. Sound is great too. The preset is helpful to get to desired station quickly. I do not use it with battery but like the idea of having that option.

Not a good work radio
Definitely a robust radio, apart from the flimsy aerial, which I had been screwing and removing so it didn't get broken in the van, the screw thread has failed so can't take it off anymore, also the top part pulled right out whilst extending the aerial and now is subsequently broken. You can't go near the radio when in DAB mode it makes strange noises and loses signal. The power lead probably won't last long either on sites as it is so thin. Looks the part but a workmans radio it is not... very disappointed...I have only had it 2 months...

Value for money
Compared to the other leading DAB site radios, this was considerably cheaper. I was conceerned that the performance maybe lower than the others, but I was pleasantly surprised. The signal quality, display, tuning and sound quality are all good. If there is one thing that could be improved, it's the power lead - it has a very fine twin-core lead, similar to door bell wire, which I don't feel is rugged enough for heavy handling on building sites. Overall, I'm pleased I bought it.

The plug lead is not much good need to be improved please take note.
Good looking dab radio good sound just whot I wanted how ever I only used it for 2days it just packed up. I think it was due to a faulty lead. How ever I sent it back to amazon and they sent me a replacement I will give it another try cause it is a good radio am happy with it.
