I I purchased this wax thread for my wind chimes in the past and it worked wonderfully and held up for several years. My sister asked me to restring her wind chimes so I did purchase a little bit heavier weight than my original purchase. I just wish the roles of thread came with the size on the package so you know what thickness thread you purchased. It was kind of challenging guessing by the picture they gave you online. But the thread is wonderful and very very sturdy to be out in the Wind 24/7/ 365 in all kinds of weather. Great product

I have to say, after being cooped up for the spring of 2020, this thread in various colors has kept me busy. It is robust, easy to work with, super waxy, and leave a good looking stitch. You do need to keep a constant thread tension to get consistent results, but that is normal with any leather stitching.

I am a bookbinder, and this thread is perfect for that use. It's of great quality, and very cost effective. I will admit that some people might find it to be too waxy, depending on your use for it. However the wax doesn't dry out like some other threads I have used, which is wonderful.I'm so glad that I found Maine Thread, it's a joy to work with.

Cording broke on wind chimes. Used this waxed twine and a appropriately sized sewing needle to restring.

This thread works great for braiding my horse. Holds good! Just what I needed.

I use this for my leather work when hand stitching items, usually between 6-8 oz thick leather, and have had no issues. Great quality and priced very well compared to others. Maine Thread is the only thread I will be using from now on.
