Whats the difference between the br2330 vs cr2330

The difference between the BR and CR is the BR is rated for extreme weather. It is used in transponders located in vehicles. The temperature in vehicles can get high in summer and very cold in winter. Using a CR in a device requiring BR will shorten the life of the battery and may cause leakage. The BR will work for a CR device. Using a CR in a BR device will have a shorter life and may damage the device.

Revived My Gate Transponder

This battery is very hard to find, but I wanted an exact replacement because others have not had success in replacing the battery in an HID transponder for our community's gate access. The transponder began working immediately after I replaced the battery.
