Easy set up. Replaced our 8 year old projector and love that we only need one cord and that it connects to bluetooth. Great picture. Sound quality by itself is fine but we prefer connecting to home theater. Seems like it will be easy to transfer to use outdoors. The auto keystone correction is awesome but we have to put our projector at an angle so we needed to use the manual set up, which was super easy. I’m a huge fan of this projector so far. Great quality for the price!

let me start by saying wow ! when i got this unboxed and set up and got some content going i couldn’t believe the picture quality, sharp, clear and bright image ! watching a movie on this is truly amazing i love the picture quality, and all the adjustments you can make, the sound is decent but when watching a movie a bluetooth speaker would make a difference but overall it sounds good, the built in apps aka “integrated dongle” as they call it makes is convenient to log in all your favorite apps so you don’t have to carry around a external device, the size overall is good not to big and seems well built and you can rely it for years to come and still makes it easy for it can be portable for outside events or camping ect. i would definitely recommend this product especially for the price point !! hands down this thing rocks !!! also to note love the wifi so you can update the firmware to keep it updated, it has many of different features to use also which more the better !!

I’m honestly very impressed with this projector. The brightness is outstanding—the 2000 ANSI lumens really make a difference. The picture is clear, vibrant, and bright enough to watch even with some lights on or during the day with a little ambient light in the room, which most projectors struggle with. The built-in Google TV is a huge bonus. Everything like YouTube, Disney+, and Prime Video is already there, so there’s no need to plug in a separate streaming stick. Setup was quick and simple, and the auto focus and auto keystone worked perfectly right out of the box. The image quality is sharp with the native 1080p resolution, and the brightness really makes movies and shows pop on a big screen. WiFi 6 and Bluetooth also make connecting devices super easy. Overall, this projector exceeded my expectations—great brightness, great picture, and extremely convenient to use. Highly recommend!

Great product! I’m only giving it 4 stars because the software is slightly slow when buffering. Overall cost compared to quality is fantastic. People, this price point is excellent for what you get! The geometry took a little bit to understand but it’s not bad. The main menu takes you to the first screen that you can choose inputs or Google store first, choose to select your input. Clarity is great and the resolution at 4k looks good but don’t forget it’s downscaled from a native 1080p. The contrast ratio is good but don’t expect high end projector black levels. Will it work well in your back yard when the sun goes down? Heck yeah it will.

Wow! My family has been really enjoying this new projector. The addition of onboard Google content makes streaming from our favorite apps very easy. One aspect of the projector performance that I wasn't expecting was the overall brightness. The image stays vivid and colorful, even when we had outside light in the room. Watching high speed action, like Formula 1, was also very good with this unit. The frame rate and resolution and onboard video processing results in a smooth and sharp sports image. We've only had it for a couple of days, but I expect it will get a lot of use in our home. I did my best to capture some of the movies/shows/sports we watched with this fantastic little projector.

I was looking for a projector and bought about three of those; however, it was a hassle to manually focus them to see the clear picture or was not bright enough or the picture quality was not super good. I found this auto-focus one and had some good reviews but was afraid to spend over $350. But I am surprised to see the quality of this projector. Easy Setup: The setup was super easy. Just plugged in and signed into my google account and all the built-in streaming apps were ready. It was just like my smart Samsung TV. Sound: Since I have a finished basement without a pre-wired home theater or speaker, having these built-in speakers is powerful enough for me to watch sports and movies. I dont need additional speakers. Picture Quality: Colors are vivid and the picture is very clear and crisp. I tried different kinds of picture quality through youtube and even the low quality contents were enhanced to best picture quality. Refer to uploaded videos to see the picture quality for both sports and movies. Auto-focus: One of the main features I was looking for after trying three manual projectors was auto-focus. Now, I can move the projector to different locations and don't need to worry about manually trying to get a clear picture. Within few seconds it does it automatically for me. Brightness: One of the best features of this is the brightness. With this projector I can turn on some lights and still get the best brightness to continue watching movies or games while my kids are playing in the same room. I have posted some videos of the sports and movies to show you the quality of the picture and brightness but my camera did not do justice to show what I can see with my eyes.

UPDATE: BLUF: Get this projector!! Aftercare assistance is top notch and fast. The projector started to develop a brown spot on the lense. I reached out to them via email and the following day they emailed me back stating probable causes and that they were sending me a replacement projector. The following day I had a tracking number and the replacement was shipped. Amazing after care help and warranty. I am new to the projector scene and was really forced to switch as my toddlers knocked down and broke a brand new 65-inch TV. Instead of buying another TV and having to hang it on the wall I decided to go the projector route. I compared/tested this projector against 3 other Amazon highly rated projectors (Goodee, onoayo, jimveo) in a similar price range, and this one was the winner hands down. This one is way brighter, sharper, and has all the features needed to make viewing a breeze, such as the autofocus, built-in streaming apps, and auto keystone. This projector can be seen clearly in the daytime as opposed to the others I tested. See photos and video. To me, this projector looks sleek, is of good quality, and it has some heft to it as opposed to other projectors that feel super light and cheap. It also includes a warranty, and the company has reached out with instructions on registering it and activating it. I haven’t used the warranty, but so far, with the company reaching out and being active, it has built some trust. I was hesitant to buy this one as it did not have many reviews, but I’m glad I did. Don’t let that stop you from buying this projector. I did see a review from another customer that was talking down about this projector, but they were also comparing it to a projector that was double the price. In its own weight class, it is definitely on top. The only dig I have on this projector is that the auto keystone doesn’t make a nice rectangle. However, you can just turn off auto keystone in the settings and manually do it once, and it will stay in that nice square/rectangle you made with no issue. It’s worth noting I have it projecting on the wall and not on a screen, so perhaps that is why it also doesn’t work properly.

Proietta molto bene i colori e le immagini, senza la distorsione o la perdita di risoluzione tipica dei proiettori nelle fasce di prezzo più basse. È anche davvero facile da usare: se il proiettore viene utilizzato su una qualsiasi parete libera (o si possiede un telo da proiezione) ci si può davvero sentire come al cinema! Grazie alla automatic keystone correction è possibile puntarlo come si vuole senza distorcere l'immagine, anche se non si possiede un treppiede o un luogo dove appenderlo. Trasmissione e sistema operativo: È presente il sistema operativo di Google TV integrato, quindi è facilmente possibile accedere a Netflix, YouTube, Amazon prime video, Rai play e altri servizi di streaming direttamente dal proiettore dal telecomando o dal sistema di riconoscimento vocale, e c'è in ogni caso la possibilità di scaricare altre applicazioni di trasmissione video. Ha inoltre un ingresso HDMI e la possibilità di fare screen mirroring wireless, e quindi vedere direttamente proiettato sul muro lo schermo del proprio telefono/tablet, o di trasmettere da altri dispositivi come si trasmetterebbe ad un Chromecast. Quindi all’interno di questo proiettore si trova una smart TV a tutti gli effetti. In questo è anche incluso l'assistente Google, che è in grado di aprire applicazioni, fare ricerche online e mettere video su YouTube tramite comandi vocali. Auto focus and Auto keystone correction: Possiede auto focus correction ed auto keystone correction, sia in orizzontale che in verticale. Entrambi sembrano funzionare abbastanza bene in casi normali, ma se c'è necessità in casi specifici è sempre possibile regolare manualmente entrambi, controllando la posizione di ciascun angolo individualmente. Infatti nelle impostazioni si può regolare la forma della proiezione molto liberamente, addirittura controllando le coordinate di ciascun angolo nel caso in cui bisogna proiettare su una parete obliqua o con il proiettore inclinato. Per quanto riguarda il focus invece si può regolare direttamente dal telecomando in ogni momento. Qualità dell’immagine: Come è possibile vedere dalle foto che ho allegato a questa recensione la qualità dell’immagine è davvero eccellente, con una risoluzione nativa di 1080p e una luminosità di 1000 ANSI Lumens in grado di proiettare colori vividi e accesi sulla maggior parte delle superfici. Qualità del suono: In tutti i proiettori che ho provato fino ad oggi la qualità dell’audio era sempre trascurata, e per questo mi dovevo sempre adattare con una cassa bluetooth. In questo caso invece mi trovo pienamente soddisfatto, la qualità è davvero eccellente, è comunque possibile collegare con il Bluetooth una cassa o un paio di cuffie. Ventola: Il sistema di ventilazione interna è molto silenzioso, tanto che durante la trasmissione ci si dimentica della sua presenza. Luce: Grazie all’alta luce di proiezione è possibile proiettare un’immagine vivida anche con la luce del sole.Ovviamente la qualità maggiore si raggiunge al buio, ma non è una condizione necessaria. Per tutto quello di cui ho parlato fino ad ora mi sento di consigliare questo proiettore a tutti quelli che stanno cercando uno strumento in grado di fornire un’esperienza di home cinema, rimanendo comunque in una fascia di prezzo pur sempre media.

I have been a big projector fan for nearly 30 years – ever since I bought a big old 3 CRT Barco monster - It took up a big chunk of the living room and was a nightmare to use! This Putrimus is a 1080p LED projector (ignore the 4k in the description - this just means it can accept a 4K input and down-scale it to 1080p) with an impressive claim of 1400 Ansi Lumens. I currently use a BenQ W1070 Tungsten Halogen projector. This is rated at 2000 Ansi Lumens and cost twice as much, so I was very keen to see how the 2 compare. My BenQ is ceiling mounted as the bulbs in these thigs are very delicate and very expensive. Not so with LED projectors and whilst testing the Putrimus I bumped it a couple of times, each of which would have caused a traditional halogen bulb to blow. Halogen bulbs cost hundreds to replace, so LED projectors are a wonderful innovation. I setup these tests in my living room on a 230cm diagonal (90") screen. Normally I wouldn’t expect an LED projector to get a workable image on this large a screen. The Putrimus really surprised me! Besides some sample images, I have included 3 images from 3 different projectors. These were taken using a camera on full manual, so the exposure was identical for all 3 photos. The differences you see are real. One is the Putrimus, another is my living room projector, and the 3rd is an LED projector I bought for my daughter's student house just over 2 years ago. In use, the Putrimus is brighter than my £800 Halogen projector! Maybe this is due to my halogen bulb dimming over the past few years. Fortunately LEDs don't age like this and I'm really surprised and impressed by the brightness of the Putrimus, as I am more than happy with the brightness of my BenQ. The older LED projector I compared against was a good-quality model from 2022. It was similarly priced to the Putrimus, but with far fewer features. The thing to note here is how dim it is. It is not usable on a screen this size - even in the pitch dark. LED has come so so far in the past few years. Measuring the brightness of the Putrimus with a Lux meter shows a drop off from the centre brightness to the edges from 320 in the centre to about 121 at the edges. That sounds a lot, and you can notice it when an all-white screen is showing, but it's very difficult to notice when watching video or images. It's about typical for the LED projectors I have used. My BenQ gives less drop off (from 350 in the centre to 230 at the edges). As I say, in practice It's not as big a difference as it sounds. Out of the box, image quality on the Putrimus is awful! It ships with the sharpness turned much too high! This is easy to fix though by accessing the setup menu (press the button with 3 dashes on the remote to access the menu). I have included a screenshot of some settings that worked for me. It would be good to see a colour temp adjustment to fit people's tastes, but the out-of-the-box colour temperature is fine (if a little cool). Once adjusted the image quality is really, really good! The remote is very nice and feels decent quality. No batteries in the box though - so you will need a couple of AAAs. If you can't find your remote (or batteries) you can plug in a USB keyboard. This makes setting up the Wifi connection easier! Once I connected to the wifi I was surprised to see the projector receive a firmware update. Every LED projector I have used has the capability to get updates - but this is the 1st one I have ever seen actually receive one! This is a great sign that the manufacturer cares about the device - even after you have bought it they want to improve it for you. The built-in GoogleTV is a great bonus and I was able to install Jellyfin (my app of choice) and put some test videos on. It is worth noting that BBC iPlayer and the Channel 4 app was not available for install. The BBC are very fussy about certifying iPlayer on devices - my £100 GoogleTV Streamer still doesn't have iPlayer available yet, so don't hold your breath for the Putrimus getting it. You can plug-in additional streaming devices via HDMI if you need them, however. All projectors are susceptible to contrast problems if you have too much light in the room. This is because on a TV, black is black (turn the screen off and see how black it is) Whereas, for a projector, black is only as black as the projector screen is. If you have light spilling onto the screen, black turns grey and washes out the picture. I have included a video showing football with the lights off, then with the room's side-lights on (these are what we usually use for day-to-day living and are pretty bright), then with the main lights on (which are VERY bright and right in front of the screen). Due to its overall brightness the projector copes very well with the side lights and is still perfectly watchable. For an LED on a 230cm screen that is very, very impressive! The weakest part of the package is the built-in speaker. It is almost unusable. If you are hoping to use this to watch films, or even sport, the on-board speaker WILL disappoint you. I don't mind, as I always use separate speakers and the projector has a headphone out for powered speakers or you can connect speakers via Bluetooth. All in all I am super impressed by the picture and features and, since I don't use the audio, I highly recommend this. By far the brightest and best I have used!
