Did the job what i needed it for a lga 2011-v3 cpu keeps it cool

Used with an old i7-3820 build that I rehoused into a server case thanks to the RAM crisis, and it fit just fine in a 3U build. Easy to install, but knocking off one star because the plastic spacers that came with it were too thick to fit on the socket, but a saw took care of that problem pretty quickly.

its not man enough to chill a i9 thats working hard and so will throttle the CPU when under load, but its very low profile and quiet. Sadly I'm having to return it in exchange for a huge block as I will be using the CPU to the max and the water cooled one will leak over time unlike a big slab of metal.

Wouldn't say it's rated for the power claim, a 8400f was constantly running at 70-80 degrees when not gaming and a 7800x3d would thermal throttle quite often, claiming this cooler has a thermal limit of 150w, would mean that 150w CPU would be throttling it self all the time

Surprisingly good cooling for such a low profile cooler. Keeps my AMD FX-8350 in the low 60s °C while running at 100%.

If you don't enjoy the frustration of securing one side of the cpu cooler just for the other side to NEVER connect, AVOID AT ALL COST! I will certainly be avoiding upHere and now I am going to have to find another CPU cooler. What a pile of trash!
