New Amazon Kindle Scribe Folio Cover with Magnetic Attach, Sleek Protective Case - Premium Leather

I want to counter the negative reviews about this beautiful leather case, though I will update it over time because of some of the reviews.It matches my metallic jade Scribe so well, I love how it compares to the darker shade of this emerald colored case. The leather feels really nice. While it is easily scratched, it also can be buffed out. I’m a super purchaser of fine leather goods so it might be because of that where I’m not bothered by the obvious way this leather is going to develop a patina over time which is why Amazon gives you a disclaimer box before you buy this case in either color. You can use a soft cloth that is ever so slightly damp (I mean like a fine mist) and buff the surface. Once it really wears in, I’ll use the Cadillac leather conditioner I use on my soft leather purses. I do wish it was cheaper but after having a Kindle for 15 years, I’ve usually always really enjoyed the quality of the official Amazon cases. I do like to have a big variety, so I like Finite and brands like that too but I like the texture and colors of the products Amazon uses. I’m super excited to see how this leather case ages!

Love my scribe!! Use it for work all of the time!! Create a folder to store projects. Love that I can write on the surface with ease. Adjustable brightness for eyes. Create lines/table type for writing. Can just flip for a new page & have as many as you want for each notebook. Can even use it to read to read on if you wanted. lol!

If you drop your scribe there is 0% chance this case is going to stay on your scribe. I purchased the amazon kindle scribe brush print leather folio cover in September and it shows no sign of wear. However this New Amazon Kindle scribe Folio Cover- Premium Leather has a suede type finish and I was able to scratch this cover with my nail just taking it out of the box. 0/5 stars, would not recommend.

Fits perfectly and has a place for the stylist.

I don’t know that it’s worth the price, however it’s a good cover. The only thing I don’t love is that it’s only held on by magnetic backing so if you hold it by the folio only, the kindle can fall, and I’m curious if this magnet will lose attraction over time.

This product was amazing the stand worked really well with kindle scribe. Its durability and fine leather quality and design fit like a perfect match.

I purchased this cover for my Kindle Scribe because I wanted a cover to protect my Scribe and without it, the Scribe is slippery and so (for me) easy to drop. I (foolishly) thought since it's an Amazon product, theirs should be the best fit/function for the Scribe - Boy was I wrong. First off - this is an electronic book/pad and so it intuitively should open to the side. I didn't realize how automatically I would try (and continue to try) to open it sideways, NOT flipping the cover over the top. Second, Even after forcing myself to flip the cover over the top of the Scribe, getting ahold of the thing isn't easy, nor is flipping it over. It's the same when closing it, getting ahold of the cover isn't easy and more than once, I dethatched the Scribe from the cover when trying to get ahold of the cover (it's held in place by magnets within the Scribe). Finally, after a few weeks I noted that the Scribe's pen began to slide out of the holder, which is a loop at the bottom of the cover. This, more than anything else caused me to trash this cover and purchase a $20 cover that flips from the side, has an internal pencil holder that leverages the Scribe's side magnetic attraction (but does this inside of the cover where the pen can't slip out). Lastly, while this cover is supposed to be leather - if it is, it's leather that has been processed so heavily that it feels like vinyl over plastic. Not something I would recommend, especially at the price they are selling it for. Oh ya - and the whole folding of the cover over to prop the Scribe up on a flat surface - why? I don't read that way or draw that way and so not something I would ever use it for. Good Luck.

My husband upgraded mine to the new Jade in color Kindle Scribe 👏🏽 combined with the Kindle Scribe Folio Cover w/the Magnetic Attachment, Sleek Protective Case Premium Leather and I love it 🖤! Leather cases are my favorite due to them aging with time showing old fashion wrinkles, creases, scratch-like, color variation in a form of fading from aging so it makes it look like different shades of jade, it gives it character and an awesome quality to it❣️Love the vintage look 👀 I do clean it regularly when I use it often, and I also condition it with a leather product to restore it’s beauty 💯❣️🥰 See the beauty of the Emerald case in my pictures 😍 Matches to perfection 💯🥰
