The Large Family 5 Children books Set Collection (A Quiet Night In, A Piece of Cake, All In One Piece, Mr Large In Charge, Five Minutes' Peace)

As always the Large Family book's are enjoyed by my son and he always has a giggle when we read these book's together. This book set was great quality, really good value and arrived in great condition, the books we received are the same as the one's pictured. I would recommend these books and I would buy again.

I wanted to buy some books as a first birthday gift and following discussions with my own children (now in their mid teens) it was agreed that these were a fab addition to their childhood! Brilliant books...not too long...great pictures....and most of all not just funny to kids they have great themes that will make adults reading them laugh too!

This was a birthday present. It arrived in great condition and I'm sure my friend will love reading them to her daughter.

I have looked after loads of children, and 5 minutes peace is one of the all time favourites. I was in need of a new copy, as the old one is now very battered. Thought I would get the whole series, as the picture of Mrs Large going out for the evening with the imprint of a set of watercolours on the back of her dress ( in "All in one piece") always makes me smile.

My grandchildren absolutely love these books well worth the money.

I absolutely love these books and have read them many times to my daughter when she was younger. They arrived on time and in perfect condition. They are excellent value for money. However, from the pictures, I expected them to be in a box. As they are for a gift, it was not what I'd hoped for. For anyone who just wants the books, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these as they really are fantastic value.

These are the funniest books! I used to read them when I was little, then i bought them for my kids and again for my nephew. So excited to share them with a new generation!

Sent as a gift set for our granddaughter. Absolutely love these story books. Brightly coloured pages and covers. Sit nicely on bookshelf and suitable reading for all ages. Five minutes peace is one of my all time favourite story books, as fond memories reading this story many times to my own children over 25 years ago! Highly recommend.

I was very disappointed with my order. I purchased this book boxset as a gift for my son. Unfortunately I didn’t realise until I had already placed the order that another reviewer had already mentioned that this item doesn’t come in a box, as advertised. The five books are wrapped in a simple plastic layer, which obviously can’t be reused. The price is still very good for the five large family books, hence the two stars.

Auf deutsch fand ich die Bücher als Kind toll. Diese englische Version ist leider nicht so schön - 5 dünne, schwabbelige Hefte, die schon mit Eselsohren geliefert wurden. Man hat gar kein richtiges Buch in der Hand, für kleine Kinder dadurch ungeeignet. Die Zeichnungen sind zusätzlich nicht so liebevoll, wie in meiner gebundenen Version von früher. Schade.
