Brought as a gift for my other half. A lovely book fir any Studio Ghibli fan. Lovely illustrations.

I bought this book for my ten year old grandaughter - a budding artist, and fan of mangas and the Studio Ghibli. I'm a fan of Miyazaki, The visual quality of his films and the multiple layers of the story-line make for a deep experience for adults and an enduring fascination for children. How can one bear to watch Disney once one has tasted the richness of Miyazaki? I haven't seen the book yet, but Rosa was delighted with it. To quote her letter of thanks: "The pictures inside the book have a beautiful colour pallet.I loved reading it and looking at the pictures. Thank you so, so much! It's one of the best birthday presents I've ever had. I love the way Hayao Miisazaki draws." Can one say more than that?

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas and she loves it. She’s been thinking about getting it for ages so she’s happy. The pictures are good and it feels a sturdy book so I’m pleased with it too.

As a studio Ghibli fan I had great expectations of this film, there are many better but my grandson who is three and a half is a fan. Having seen the film he enjoyed this book.

A really gorgeous book taking you through the whole movie and different stages of production. It's wonderfully calming to read and would be grwat for anyone who loves Studio Ghibli.
