Moonkie Silicone Baby Straw Cup 6 Months, Transition for Toddlers

These are great. My little one wanted a straw cup just like the rest of the house. They don’t leak and the little cap means I’m confident popping them in the bag to take out with us. The soft silicone design makes them comfortable for little ones to hold. The extra straw for both cups means that even when they’re chewed you can replace and give the cup longevity, which is great value for money.

First impressions were great - even from the packaging the product looked absolutely beautiful and very well presented. The cup itself feels very high quality. It’s made entirely from silicone, but it’s a firmer silicone, so it isn’t easily squishable and feels sturdy and durable, which is reassuring for a baby/toddler cup. I really like that it comes with two straw options: one with a valve for beginners and another without a valve for free-flow sipping as babies get more confident. It also includes a small cleaning brush, which is a thoughtful extra and makes cleaning the straw much easier. I’ve seen some comments about a smell, but there wasn’t any strong smell. Silicone products can have a slight scent when brand new, which is normal and usually fades after a few uses or washes. Overall, it feels like a well-made, high-quality toddler cup with practical features that make the transition to independent drinking eas.

As a mum to a toddler and a baby I really love and trust Moonkie’s products. They make practical and cute items for babies! Bought this sippy cup for my one year old who is not great at sipping water from her normal straw cup so I’m hoping the valve one will help her as straws are best for oral development. I like that there’s an option for a free flow straw (also included) which makes the product more lasting and also allows thicker liquids such as smoothies which is great! Love that they also injured a thoughtful care card and straw cleaner to ensure it stays really clean.

Very easy to clean but the silicone does have a funny taste even after washing and boiling (as per the instructions). Not if that will go away with use or not as we only just got them. Size is good, not too heavy for little hands, and doesn't spill unless shaken.

Amazing straw cup. I like the design, but also it's functionality. The whole thing is made out of silicone (even the body, which surprised me, even though I read the description) and absolutely cannot break. It comes with 2 straws - 2 with a valve and 2 free flowing, which gives you options, especially when teaching your baby to use straws. The straws are wide enough to use for thicker liquids. Babies can hold it fine. It's a good size - not too big and not too small. Only downside is the assembling (putting the straw into the lid) - you need to use a lot of force. So much so that you are afraid of breaking the silicone. But that's just me being very critical and it isn't a deal breaker.

Very difficult and weird to drink from like only one mouthful would come and would have to take your mouth off. Liked the idea and look but was disappointed with function

Looks lovely, but major design flaw - if dropped from highchair height, it's almost guaranteed to open and the contents go everywhere. Would have figured they would have tested that.

This cup, I won’t say much but I highly recommend. It does not leak at all just that they won’t get enough water but absolutely okay for babies.

Convenient for kids and the material is safe. But downside is that the water drips out

There’s a few things that are different from expected: - I could see the threads in the photos and thought the lids were screw on. They are not, they just pop on and off. It stays on pretty securely. It’s actually a little tricky to get the lid off but it helps to squeeze the top of the bottle and then it comes off pretty easy. - I thought the bottle would be more squishy and if I squeezed the bottle, water would come up the straw so I could help my baby learn to use it. But the bottle isn’t very squishy so that didn’t work like I thought. It is nice that it’s a sturdy bottle though. Some things I particularly love: - It comes with a regular straw and slow-flow straw. I used the regular straw when teaching baby to use it, but once he got the hang of it, the water would come too quickly and he would choke, so I then switched to the slow-flow straw and it’s been perfect, no more choking (9 months old). - The straw cap. Love the protection of cleanliness and it doesn’t leak. Plus is baby likes to chew on it. - They look nice and are a good size. Perfect for baby’s hands. Overall I’m very happy with the product!

Works great. No weird smells and easy to clean and put together. Each cup comes with two straws, does not spill when turned upside down with the "stopper" straw in. Have already been bonked around a bit and stayed together so far, would recommend.

These cups are amazing! I purchased them to send milk to daycare for my son (starting at 12 months, now 14 months) as he never took a bottle and still nurses frequently during the day when he is at home. When I purchased them I had serious doubts that they would actually be leak proof but I have been pleasantly surprised. We exclusively use the training straw and it completely prevents milk from spilling out. For water we usea weighted straw cup, I didn't want to use one for milk though because of the thin straw making it more difficult to clean, these straws are easy to clean. I would highly recommend these cups if you are looking for a spill proof, easy to clean toddler cup!
