VIVOHOME 1.5HP Dual Voltage Pool Pump for In/Above Ground Pools

I really like this pump! It is a lot more powerful than our old pump. That means that there are more turns per hour for cleaner water! It is also quieter than our old one. I also like the on-board timer! Installation was relatively easy!

If you're looking for great value, this is a strong, highly capable pump. I had the same issue as a few others with water intrusion into the control panel. Fortunately, Vivohome was incredibly supportive. They quickly sent out a replacement along with a video that provided concise instructions on the installation procedure. The new unit has an improvement correcting the issue. They stand behind their product and actively improve it. I don't expect it to be an issue going forward. I think they operate out of China and their support is via email. While it might not be instantaneous by some people's standards, they do respond, they are honest, helpful, and they stand behind their product. In terms of sheer performance, it absolutely holds its own against premium brands like Pentair. When you realize you can buy 7 or 8 of these for the price of just one premium model, it’s a total no-brainer.

Mine lasted about half of a season. When I went to open my pool this year, the pump is completely seized. So, since its only been 10 months, I called the manufacturer, sat on hold for a long time, and when I finally got someone, they said in order to use the warranty, I need to send them a video of what the pump is doing. Of a seized pump, that will do absolutely nothing. So, I grabbed a video of it not working, and responded to the email they sent me with the video. Their email system rejected the email as junk. Thats going to make it real hard to use the warranty, if they require a video to use the warranty, but then reject emails with videos as spam. Im feeling like I probably got ripped off on this one. Ill update if they actually stand behind the warranty and send a replacement

The VIVOHOME Pool pump was a purchase to replace another pump that had to be repaired twice in 1 year. This pump has exceeded my expectations.The power of the pump is greater than prior pumps I have purchased at a greater cost. I have not experienced any leaks, the canister lid is so easy to remove and clear debris, and goes back on with ease. The installation very simple, basically a plug and play unit. The speed is powerful with minimal sound, no vibration. The reliability of the product is good, it is set on a timer, so it turns on and off as expected. The one and only downfall of this product is that it does not have an on-off switch and a built in timer. This issue is is easily resolved by purchasing an outdoor timer to plug the unit into. This is the perfect solution!Recommend highly!

This pump is great. It works wonderfully for our pool. We have a 32×18×56 above ground. It runs our automatic vacuum wonderfully as well. My only issue is a personal preference. This pump has a timer on it. It is required to use the timer. It can not be disconnected or turned off. It can be set anywhere between 1 and 24 hours to run each day. It comes on the next day at the same time and runs how it is set. We live in the Mississippi Delta and our weather requires the pump to run pretty much continuously. Therefore, we have to manually turn the pump back on everyday. However, that is the only problem I have with this pump. Its a great working pump

This pump works great. About it for my above ground swimming pool. I wanted to be able to use a creeper to clean the bottom but their original pump that came with the pool was not strong enough. This pump is awesome. The installation was very easy. The pump is not loud and I sometimes have to walk over to actually look to see if it’s running. It’s overall great price for the power you get. So far there are no leaks and I’ve been running it for a little over a month now.

Def a good buy! I bought it several months ago and my brother put it in for me. The pressure is good, the circulation is the best. And it’s quiet. No problem with it. Installing it was only a couple of hours. My water stays clear due to the circulation power. I would not have been able to afford to have someone come in and put a pump in for me buying it from somewhere else. This was definitely the cheapest way to go. Glad I went this route.

This pump is very easy to setup and quiet.

I was truly concerned about buying this pump because it was not a well known brand. Our inground pool pump stopped running. I searched local pool stores and the internet for a replacement for the 1HP Hayward pump. A Hayward replacement would cost approximately 800 +taxes. I chose this pump for the price, the timer as well as it was set for 110v with a plug as ours was 110v.As I said I was hesitant but thought I would give it a chance. The delivery was fast. The pump was relatively easy to install and runs very quietly. After about a month’s operation I am still very happy with its performance and would recommend it. In fact my son’s pool pump was on its last leg and he bought a similar pump and is extremely satisfied with it.

Works great but needs a switch to turn on and off. I have to keep unplugging the pump to turn off.

What I received was a dead pump that wouldn't even turn on — not a hum, not a click. Just completely non-functional out of the box.What made things worse was the shockingly bad support. I called five times, sent more than ten emails, and got no help — only a few auto-responses saying my tickets were "merged." No fix. No follow-up. Nothing.A quick search shows this is a widespread issue. Many other buyers report the same motor/fan failure. That suggests a serious quality control problem — yet the company seems overwhelmed and incapable of responding to complaints.At this point, I don’t even want a replacement. I want a refund. And I want others to know this brand is not trustworthy. If your product fails immediately and your support ghosts you, it’s not worth a penny — let alone hundreds of dollars.Avoid this pump. Avoid this seller.
