I was in the market for a new sound system for my house. After hours of searching, reading product reviews and contacting companies, I stumbled across the Gemini 5500. I read the reviews, watched videos on the speakers and even called the company to make sure this is what I wanted. I wasn’t sure if I should buy just one or get a pair of them. It showed there were only 9 in stock at the time so I decided to buy a pair of them. They were on sale anyway. Well, I got them today. I was too excited to wait for the brown truck to drop them off so I ran down to the local UPS hub and picked them up. I opened the box, pulled the styrofoam off the top and pulled the first speaker out. I plugged in the power cable, turned it on and hit the Bluetooth button. It connected instantly. All I had to do was turn up the gain on the back of the speaker and I was listening to music. It was that simple. After I got that one going, I pulled the second one out of the box and set that one up too. I hit the link button and easily paired the two together. What’s great is when you turn the volume down on one, they both turn down simultaneously. These things are extremely powerful. I have them in my living room and I can’t even turn it up past 20. I’m not sure what max volume is but I know it’s gotta be way more. Honestly, for the price I paid, I’m very satisfied. They’re bigger than I anticipated which is plenty fine by me. They’re build quality is amazing. They look great and sound great and I’m looking forward to many hours of listening to them.

Very good quality speaker sounds very loud and crisp and clear base is really good I got the option with no light but I was surprised that it came with the microphone the mic feels nice and heavy and of good quality Bluetooth connects immediately no complaints

I love the sound of this speaker and it’s quality, even the microphone that comes with it has some weight to it it’s not one of those plastic microphones that’s battery operated that usually comes with Bluetooth speakers nowadays I highly recommend this speaker great investment!!

Update: I absolutely loved the first speaker, I decided it buy another one for our property. This time I bought the LED version and highly recommend that one too! It gives more of a touch and lights are all over it! I’ll attach more photos side by side and video! Either one you go with, you won’t go wrong. Love both! Wow, I’m absolutely in love with this tower speaker. Straight from the box when I received it I knew it was going to be great. When it was delivered, it was packaged in a nice secured box. I was so excited that I had to open it right away. The speaker is Bluetooth and took 10 seconds to connect to phone..easy! Over the last week every single time I turned it on, it paired without issues. The speaker is sleek looking with no led lights on it. It can be extremely loud, so don’t worry about if it’s going to be loud enough! You can adjust some of the settings on the back. Including gain, echo, bass, etc. you can easily hook up microphones to the speaker! Better yet.. when I received my product, it came with a microphone that I had no idea it was coming with… WIN! The speaker also has two heavy duty wheels in the bottom and an expandable handle that makes commuting easy. Overall the speaker is high quality, professional grade, and I plan to use for many things!! I highly recommend this speaker!

It’s loud but cuts out on lows if you crank it. I get it it’s a safety measure. But I feel being a 15 inch woofer should hit harder then my 10” Bluetooth speaker. Gets real tinny at high volumes. I guess for smaller events or as a preacher speaker it would work. It’s about 140 watts which I figured before I bought. I have other Gemini speakers and I love em. This one just didn’t get it for me.

I really liked the portability of this speaker but could not find a live demo, so I bought it after listening to the demos on Amazon (thank you to everyone who uploaded one!) I now have two of these speakers, and they have way exceeded my expectations! Very loud so you are surrounded by the music, plenty of "thunk" in the bass, a nice warm sound, and clear highs so you can actually hear the lyrics. (I got this by setting the internal equalizer to "flat" and the treble to -10, but there are lots of other options.) They are not ideal as studio monitors because they aren't that clear in the mid-range, but for a party or club setting IMO you would have to spend 3 to 4 times the money to get something noticeably better. I'm really happy with the Gemini 5500!

Gemini Sound GSP-5500 15 inch speaker. As an owner of the previous generation of a Gemini GSP-L2200 15inch party speaker, I needed a second speaker to complement the first one. This model has the familiar Gemini handle and build familiarity as the previous models. A very rugged type build making it easy to transport with the handle/wheels. Included microphone seems to be same build as the previous, although I used an SM58 and a wireless solution to test without issues. The newer control center is upgraded for manual knobs to more touch buttons and screen based adjustments. Much cleaner and aesthetically pleasing. No memory card, nor FM radio built in like previous models, although I never used either options for any gigs I did. I also used the previous models as PA speaker for a live band, and also used a speaker wedge for a band. I will be using this one and the same fashion. These get loud. Like loud loud. I have used them as PA/ Music for large sports event in doors with JBL wireless mics without an issue projecting across a huge gymnasium. A very solid upgrade to previous model. This model has no LED lights unfortunately. Highly recommend if you need a party speaker that kicks, or a single speaker PA for a band - this will work.
