EdisonBright Nitecore EDC29 6500 Lumen USB Rechargeable Slim Body LED Flashlight EBR Charging Adapter

This light is very nice. It’s durable enough to EDC and hold up. The light is extremely bright. I also have the EDC37 and to be honest, the EDC is definitely easier to carry due to the shape and weight. When you compare the 2 when it comes to brightness, the difference is slight. The EDC37’s 8,000 Lumen Shield mode is only usable for about 8-10 seconds before it deactivates due to heat. The EDC29 Lumen Shield Mode seems to last a bit longer than that and cool quicker to be able to use it quicker. The 6,500 lumen rating of the EDC29 is already so bright that it’s almost unusable on anything closer than 50ft away. Same for the EDC37. It’s amazing that Nitecore is able to produce so much light output out of these compact flashlights. I’ve never had anything even close to them. If you’re trying to choose between the EDC29 and EDC37, you really can’t go wrong either way. They both are excellent. The EDC29 is more natural to carry, a bit lighter, and just about matches the light output of the EDC37. That put it at the top for me. I also kept the EDC37 as a non-EDC light because it’s just an extremely nice light.

Purchased in January/February 2025. I use it daily for work five days a week. It has been solid. The flood and search settings are extremely bright. The safety timer works as advertised. It shuts the light off before it overheats. I rely on it every shift and it has held up well. After about a year of heavy use, one small issue showed up. When soft/hold pressing to cycle through the 14 to 1200 lumen modes, it sometimes gets stuck on one level and will get stuck in one lumen brightness setting. It still works, but the mode switching is not as smooth as it was when new. I am going to contact EdisonBright. They repaired other flashlights for me before even though I was out of the warranty time frame. Turnaround was a couple months, but the service was solid. For the price and durability, it is still worth it. This light gets used everyday and it keeps performing. Only minor cosmetic scratches that are barely visible. Still super bright output, candela throw is amazing, good heat protection, dependable build. One minor control issue after a year of daily use does not change my overall opinion. I would buy it again.

Was looking for a pocket flashlight that would fit in my work pants for inspections. Light lasts through 3 days worth of 10 hr shifts of inspections. It’s thin and fits perfectly in pocket without being bulky. Highly durable and the switch works perfectly with the right amount of brightness levels. Built rugged and would highly recommend!!

The best EDC flashlight I have ever had!!!

This is my new everyday carry flashlight. I also have the EDC 27 which was my everyday carry. I love that this has a manual switch to lock out operation of the light. Recharging it is so simple, and it is blinding bright. I use it everyday in my pre-trip on my tractor trailer for illumination.

This Flashlight is Extremely Powerful, however, when you go to Turbo Mode, it becomes Dangerously Hot. It will easily burn through any clothing and mIt will cause a fire or serious burns. The other problem is, the Turbo mode only works for about 6-8 seconds and goes back down to the 1200 lumens. It easily lights up any area around you and far from you. If you’re wanting this Flashlight for the Max Turbo Mode, I’d say don’t buy it because It’s practically useless. What I do love about this light, is the distance the Beam goes and when on its on regular high mode (1200 lumens) it still lights up everything around you. Another great feature is the OLED Display that tells you how many lumens and how long you have before it needs to be charged. Overall, it’s one of the Coolest and Baddest hand held flashlights on the market.

This is one awesome flashlight the amount of power that it packs for size is amazing and the fact that you can lock it and secure it it’s very well I recommended

Very bright and useful. Very pricey but woth it. Don't leave it on the highest setting or it will become hot and shut down.
