It is helping my 5 year old to read. We have struggled hard to pay attention while learning sight words and starter books. He would not keep his eyes on the words he was trying to sound out. This helped get my finders out of his view and made it fun. We take turns holding the pointer and even give high fives with it. I also use this to point to his piano music, again so my hand is out of the way and he can follow along. Definitely get one with their favorite color.

Use these in DnD as a fun way to move players around the map. The different colors make it easy to determine which on each person uses. It is also nice that it telescope nicely into itself, just be careful not to pull it out to hard as it will break.

Great pointers to point out something on the board, monitor, etc. Also great to use when driving up to and need to press a button possibly too far to reach with your finger. Need to practice to do this as the pointer is small.
