Pedigree Dentastix - Small Dog 7 Stick (Pack of 10)

I keep ordering Dentastix for my friend's little terrier. It seems like the dog likes them a lot and these sticks help to keep her teeth clean and tartar free. She gets one Dentastix a day as recommended, so these bulk packs are very convenient to buy! The sticks come in 10 packs of 7 (total 70 sticks) that are packed in a cardboard box. I think ~£8/70 sticks is a real bargain! Last time I ordered these they arrived on the 6th May 2013 when the expiry date was 16 months away, on the 15th September 2014.

Good as usual

Despite the doom-mongering from some these chews are ideal for cleaning teeth last thing at night, and make for a very attentive dog whilst you make your Horlicks! According to a small minority of dog owners they may not have 'healthy' contents, but they work, and we all need to have a treat sometimes. All the dogs I know love them, and become 'your best friend...and I love you so much'. I love my dog to pieces, and am not worried about what the chews contain as they do the job of keeping his teeth clean and healthy....and my vet recommends them too....and he should know.

As a result of these chews I do not mind when my dogs show me their appreciation. They have lovely clean teeth and breath, which is a minor miracle as they are fed very fishy smelling dry dog food! The price is very good value as well, certainly much cheaper than I can get them from the major supermarkets. I am so pleased with the delivery and product that this is in fact a repeat buy.

Although our 7 year old dog is a collie/lab cross and could have a medium Dentastix according to the product guide, we give him one small Dentastix a day as a treat after his main meal so as to keep an eye on his calorie intake - he is slightly overweight and this compromise was suggested by the vet. Clinically proven to reduce up to 80% of tartar build up if taken daily, it is a treat our dog not only enjoys but one which does him good. In terms of cost, Amazon is much more competitive than our local pet stores or supermarkets and, with free delivery, this bundle of 70 Dentastix will last for a couple of months.

I bought for my two month old puppy. After having read the instructions, it stated on the packet that these Dentastix shouldn't be given to young dogs under 4 months. Will hold on to them, as she is now 3 months old, and I am sure she will enjoy them in another month's time. Maybe in the actual advertisement, it should state the age and not just put for small young dogs.

Similar to other buyers, it was not 100% clear that this was a pack containing 70 dentastix, but box arrived with 10 packs of 7 sticks. At this price they are cheaper than shop brand and the dog seems to prefer these. Not much more to add, other than they help with the teeth and breath, and the dog loves them too :-) Delivery time was very good too.

Several sellers sell these on here but it is difficult to see how many you actually get as they say x packs rather than 10 packs of 7. So, you actualy receive 70 small denta sticks - perfect for my little cocker spaniel, Wally, who loves these! A great price and quick delivery as well! One happy dog owner!

unser Hund mag diese Snacks sehr gerne, allerdings hatten wir gedacht, dass sie sich etwas länger als max. 5 min. damit beschäftigt, bis er aufgegessen ist. Außerdem sollte man deutlicher darauf aufmerksam machen, dass diese Sticks nicht für Hunde unter 4 Monate geeignet sind, denn die Aussage für junge und kleine Hunde von 4-10 kg, lassen den Eindruck entstehen, dass ich diese unbesorgt dem Welpen füttern kann. Unser Hund hatte schon mit 2,5 Monaten 5 kg.

Good for dog treat but however this does not claim for Dental health, Not that hard easily chewable, Smell is fine.

I HAVE A SHITZU OF 7 MONTHS AND I GAVE TO HIM AND HE LIKED THE TASTE VERY MUCH AS HE USED TO WAIT DAILY FOR ONE STICK. I AM NOT SURE ABOUT THE MOUTH SMELL AS IT DID NOT CREATE SUCH A DIFFERENCE BUT YES IF YOU WANT TO USE IT AS A NORMAL BONE MATERIAL YOU CAN GIVE THIS TO YOUR DOG AS WELL.

My pup likes it a lot. I break it into 2 pieces and give her. While training I make it into pieces. I give it wn my pup get zoombies or when she tries to destroy things. Ds will divert her for some time.
