Excellent mobile phone
This is an excellent phone, I purchased it to replace my old 105 G4, which I accidently dropped into water. so I know the phone does a good job, would defiantly buy again, and recommend.

Phone doesn't phone (faulty), pay return shipping
Phone arrives, box already opened but phone looks untouched. Weird, I purchased brand new, not preowned as new. Whatever, the interior packaging is intact and no sign of prior fingies on it. When turned on, connected, topped up, fully charged, and all the other necessary things you do to ensure a phone is working properly, the handset would not accept incoming calls, would not send outgoing calls. Would not text out at all. Could not or would not receive incoming texts. Sim card checked in a different phone, connects lovely, sends and receives. Back into this handset, shows connected to network but will not do anything that a phone is supposed to do. Inserting headphones and the radio doesn't even work. Cool, dodgy handset, it happens. So, I try to return it and I'm expected to pay tracked return? For a faulty item? Can't deny, I'm a wee bit incensed. 1/10, phone doesn't phone. But, also check another company for a better return policy. Why should you pay to return something that was broken before you got hands on it?

Just a phone, nothing more and that’s fine.
Solid little phone, screen a little small if you’re used to a touch screen but ideal for those who just want basic features and functionality. It makes calls and sends texts, no frills but well built and works on 4G. Good first phone for kids or for the elderly to stay in touch. Great for the price.

Nokia 105 4G - mixed feelings
You won't find anything better for this price - That's true. Everything works after a few resets, because at the beginning there was a small problem with the software.. But... Unfortunately, the lack of promised memory lowers my rating. See the photo. This proves it's not a Nokia, and not 48 MB RAM / 128 MB ROM. There is no charger in the box. The positive thing is that it has function of automatic on/off function. Also, it would be better without the Opera browser, junk games, or Bluetooth. Some of games require payment and can't be deleted. So they'll stay with you, cluttering up your phone. After all, that’s the whole point of simple phones is simplicity — no tracking, location monitoring, or data transfer happening behind our backs. 2G and 3G networks will be completely shut down in two or three years, so it’s good to have 4G capability now. Some networks are already transmitting only 4G and 5G signals. It’s worth keeping that in mind.

Utterly disappointing step‑backwards
I bought this handset to replace my mum’s much‑loved 2015 Nokia 105, whose battery is finally giving up after years of stellar service and is not 4G compatible. Unfortunately, this “upgrade” is nothing short of a downgrade. Software & user‑interface (the deal‑breaker) The menu layout is chaotic: identical icons lead to different functions, while obvious essentials (e.g. alarm, contact search) are buried three levels deep. Key assignments seem random. Sometimes OK selects, sometimes it cancels; the directional pad jumps unpredictably between options. Basic actions—adding a contact, switching to speakerphone, even ending a call—require far too many clicks for anyone, let alone an elderly user. First impressions of build I can’t fault the plastics or screen yet, but none of that matters when the phone is this frustrating to operate. A robust shell can’t protect you from bad software. After 20 years of making feature phones, how did it get this bad? Nokia used to set the gold standard for no‑nonsense usability. This model feels like it never saw a real‑world test: there’s no consistency, no logic, and certainly no respect for anyone who just wants to make calls and send the odd text. Bottom line I’m returning it and trying a basic smartphone instead—hard to believe, but even Android’s learning curve will be kinder than this. Save yourself (or your parents) the headache and give this model a miss.
