Wow!
I rarely review items, but this is definitely worth my time. The first thing I unwrapped and tested was the mount just to make sure I would even use the mount since some other reviewers had disparaged it. This thing is solid, rock solid! I don't know how quick they need the flip to the side to be, but this is very quick and very sturdy. I have glass, good glass, on all of my rifles and many of my pistols. I decided that I could always get another mount if this mount sucked but the glass was good. I was honestly blown away by the craftsmanship of both items. I mounted this optic behind my EoTech 552 (NV capable) on a Rock River LAR-8 (.308) rifle. I mounted the EoTech as far forward on the rail as possible (standard practice) and mounted the magnifier just like a rifle scope would be mounted for eye relief. This gives me the capability to put MBUS sights between the two optics with room to spare. I then used the elevation and windage adjustments to center magnifier on the EoTech reticle. I did not have any of the issues other reviewers mentioned of seeing any other part of the EoTech when looking through the magnifier. Took maybe fifteen minutes overall from the un-boxing through last adjustment. This thing is smooth! Just like a good rifle scope, the magnification is very easy to adjust. I cannot fault a <$100.000 optic for not having the best glass on the market, but it is still as clear as some of my decent scopes (Nikon, Leupold). The beauty of this magnifier is the ability to adjust your sight picture to match your optic. As other reviewers have mentioned, it may be best to use some blue loctite on a higher caliber firearm, but mine hasn't loosened yet after almost three-hundred rounds. This doesn't change the point of impact at all (for the EoTech), it just gives you better magnification of your target. It is still as spot on accurate as when I first used it. If you are having doubts about purchasing this item, it is well worth the money.

I Recomend The TMS 3X
I just mounted my TMS 3X Magnifier and ran 100 rounds with it at the range at 50 and 100 yrds. It worked great! I'm using the TMS 3X on my S&W M&P 15 with an EOTech 512 sight. It installed in minutes with no hassles and perfectly aligned with EOTech. I set it up to flip out to the right so not to obstruct my field of view when not using the magnifier. The flip out mount is rock solid in both positions. The only criticisms I can add is this is not a “flip up” spring loaded mount, it is a flip lock mount. You have to depress the locking button and push and pull to engage and disengage the optic. If you do a lot of tactical speed shooting you may need to spend more on a different mount. Something similar to EOTech’s flip-mount system. The magnifier works great with my EoTech 512. The halo is crisp when the optic is engaged and the optic can be adjusted for clearness. Shooting from my bipod at 50yrds I was getting 1-in groups. I was impressed on how clear I could see at 50yrds. At 100yrds my groups opened up between 2-3 inches. However, my EOTech 512 could not do this at 100 yrds without a magnifier. Once I had everything arranged properly on my gun the TMS 3X, EOTech 512, and Magpul flip up sights fit cleanly on top of my upper receiver. The set up looks very clean but the TMS adds weight to the gun. Having said this I would have preferred to have a quick release mount with the magnifier when I’m running speed drills within 25 yrds. I have to say I could not justify spending over $500.00 on an EOTech or AimPoint magnifier. If you are on a budget this is an OUTSTANDING optic and mount for the money. I strongly recommend optic.

Awesome deal.
I mounted this on my AR behind an Eotech Exps2. It works great and is quite sturdy. It is a little big, but does not hinder performance. The only complaint I have is that the release button to flip it to the side is a little hard to get to behind the Eotech. This is probably only an issue with eotechs due to the width of the sight. It's hard to explain, but the release button faces forward and is right up against the halo sight. Besides that, the mount is easily manipulated one handed for me. The magnifier itself is great. Clear and is obviously sealed. I have handled an Eotech and Aimpoint magnifier and this TMS is just as good imo. The mount is solid with no wiggles or wobbles at all. The lens caps for storage are crap, but they are just to keep the dust off.

Works well, mount is pretty bad though
I have this behind a real deal eotech xps2-0, the mount makes it ride a little high and you catch the top of the eotech frame in the magnification, the button to rotate it sometimes jams up and its kinda a pain to move. I was trying to configure it the way I wanted and ended up semi stripping two of the allen head bolts, go figure its made in China and comes in a black box that just says 3x magnifier lol. I bought another type of mount that was supposed to align with eotechs perfectly (I refuse to pay 550 for an eotech mag, and I will not raise my perfectly co witnessed with irons eotech to meet up with a mag) that one didn't align perfectly either but somehow you don't catch the frame in that one, plus it's spring loaded and flips out the way super fast. all in all considering I had to buy a better mount, it's not worth the price point, the mag itself is decent, but given that I can get a similiar setup where the mount is good too for the same or less, in hindsight I would have went that route.
