R.W. Knudsen Organic Just Tart Cherry Juice, 32 fl oz (Pack of 1)

This is the only brand that actually helps my husband’s gout flare up. It’s hit or miss to find at our local grocery, so Amazon delivery is the best price and never lets me down! Tastes great, and it’s the concentration of juice is so much better than the alternatives!

This RW Knusen Organic Just Tart Cherry juice tastes really good! I drink this at night before bedtime, and I noticed that after only 3 days, I have better, deeper sleep, and my aches and pains are much less. I also added beet root powder, and the taste is even more robust and rich! I love it!

I actually enjoy sipping this juice undiluted, but I usually mix it at about 25% in my Sprite Zero, 24/7. It seems to blend very well with the light lime flavor of the Sprite, adding a bit mor flavor. It might make a good cocktail mixer, though I haven't tried that.

Tart Cherry is just that, TART. This is supposed to help with sleep and keeping my kidneys clear. I just have a glass before bed and a glass in the morning. I am NOT a Doctor, but several have suggested Tart Cherry and I am trying to improve my health and diet. This does Not taste terrible as some have. I have put it on Subscribe and Save. Update: after comparing Knudsen to Ocean Spray, Knudsen tastes much better.

A few months ago, I had a severe case of gout. Never had it before and it hit me on my right big toe. I could barely walk and happened to be on a trip to see my granddaughter play in a baseball tournament (they defeated 6 teams to take tournament champs!). I’m a 68 year old female. I don’t drink, allergic to shellfish and might eat pork maybe twice a month, if at all. I’m not a vegetarian, and rarely eat red meats. Go figure. Although the males in my family suffered from gout (social drinkers). Anyway, I’ve read that tart cherry juice can help with uric acid build up. But, it is so expensive in the local stores. I can get it on Amazon for $4 less, so I recently set up subscribe and save ordering 2 bottles a month. Received 2 shipments so far and the bottles (plastic) made it through shipment okay and did not leak. I can drink the juice straight up, no problem. But I usually water down juice-type drinks—70-30 (water). I heard it also helps you settle down so you can fall asleep faster if you take it 2 hours before bedtime. So far, I’m doing good.
