I bought this and one other Marvin’s Magic tricks kit as holiday gifts for two sets of young little cousins I have and boy oh boy, let me tell you, they absolutely love it. From the moment they opened the present, they wouldn’t stop hugging me, perhaps because of how the box itself makes everything look so fun and exciting, and I promise it does not disappoint. The magic set comes with a lot of tricks (although not as many as the other Marvin Magic tricks kit that I bought, so be sure to look into that one if you’re looking for the biggest and bestest set of all), and I didn’t have time to go through absolutely everything on the night I gave them the present. But I will say that I started going through some of the main stuff with them and we were able to learn the magic trick performances pretty quickly. We used the app, because it has videos that show you how to do the tricks right. That makes it much easier for kids like my cousins who aren’t old enough to read that well yet. It also made me happy to see that, using the videos, they ‘ll actually be able to learn some of the tricks all on their own, meaning without me there going over it with them. Best part of all, if you asked me, was watching my little cousin successfully fool his parents with some of the magic tricks! Not bad for a little kids magic set!

Marvin's Magic kit was such a great gift for my 12 year old son... He loved playing with this... very nice item for the money ....

This was my son's one gift request to Santa. He received it and was very excited to start learning the tricks. While most have been great, the quality of the items is lower than I would have hoped. The stick with flies already had one fall off and we had to glue it back on yesterday, and today he discovered one of the flies lost its wings. He felt a little bummed that it wasn't quite the quality he expected, and this is a a kid who takes care of his stuff and isn't rough with it. The tricks have been fun for him to learn and he is enjoying using the app.

Lot of magic tricks, lot of fun easy to use

I bought this for my nieces who are 6 and 7… six seven, a few of tricks were way to teach them, pretty cheap props, I think there are 10-12 actual tricks and the rest I do with cards and through the app using your phone. Really nothing I thought was that good, the dynamic coins I got them for the same price blows this set outta the water. A few tricks require slight of hand to make work. I returned and I’m ordering them a cheaper set more tailored towards young kids in my opinion.

We are always getting this out and learning something new! It’s fun for the whole family!
