I'm using this with a desk top computer so it's size is not a problem. I have experienced improved speed with my current WIFI setup. Reliable and easy to install.

I love this thing. I use this to practice in my cyber security course and it's been doing great. Great value and pretty much works out of the box. It might take a little bit extra time to set up based on your OS but I didn't encounter any issues.

So far so good. Picks up the 5ghz signal from the first floor Comcast Router. No problems in my 3rd floor office studio. 9/24 it died, but I bought another brand and it Also died! I messed with the settings and got it working. Then, remembered I kept this one and hadn't thrown it away yet and plugged it in again and it worked right away! So it was something in my computer, NOT this Wifi gizmo. I was using a cable to my Sony Camera that seemed to throw everything out of whack. Using their picture grabbing software and USB 3 and DaVinchi Resolve 18.6 into my Win 10 HP Workstation. It's done it more than once now. It locks up my network settings.

I'm using this for Kulp lighting controller with PocketBeagle, I needed something that was linux friendly and would not require additional drivers. This was perfect for that application, I have recommenede to friends who are doing similar work already.

Doesn't work well. Constantly loses connection and is overall very unreliable. Didn't work with my Linux Mint system. Windows 10 and 11 both lose connection often. I tried multiple computers.

Purchased this Realtek RTL8812BU USB Wireless Adapter for use with an older desktop running Linux (Fedora 42 w/16.6.x kernel) and it works perfectly. Turned off the built-in network adapter, plugged this WiFi adapter into a USB port, restarted and it was recognized and ready to go. So far, it has been stable and providing a solid 850Mbps (or better) connection.

Si lo quieres solo para conectarte a Internet, es suficiente. Pero si lo quieres para Hacking puede que tengas mejores opciones (tuve problemas con los controladores en kali WSL [computadora] y en mi teléfono no detectaba la antena)

Funktioniert mit Linux Mint. Habe auch im Betonkeller noch ausreichend Signalstärke vom Router im Paterre.

Ca marche impeccable avec mon NAS Terramaster F4-424 !
