I was looking for a reliable and reputable phone holder for a road trip in a rental car. After doing some research, this was one that many folks seemed to recommend. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice this phone holder is. I didn't try the magnetic dash mount since it requires sticking the included magnetic base onto the dash (and I didn't want to do that since it was a rental car). However, the windshield mounting worked flawlessly every time. The windshield mount is very sticky/tacky and I felt confident it wouldn't fall off even during very "spirited driving". I was using it to hold an iPhone 16 Pro Max and I have no doubt that the phone bracket and mount could easily handle larger or bulkier phones. I was worried about potentially damaging the windshield or leaving weird marks on the glass while trying to take it off, but removing it is extremely easy and leaves no marks at all! When mounted on the windshield, the holder is secured strongly enough that you can adjust the angle with ease. Another positive is that the winshield mount retains its stickiness even after multiple applications/removals. I've gone on multiple road trips in different cars since getting this phone holder, and it continues to mount to the windshield securely and flawlessly every time. This is the only phone holder I will travel with, and should it break down at some point (I don't expect it to any time soon), I would get another one without hesitation. Really solid product.

Works great! Been using it for a few months now. Solid attachment to dash. Haven’t tried the suction part to the window. I already had a magnetic attachment on my phone so I put the included ring on my iPad and it holds great for that too (figured I’d try to use a bigger screen for Maps when on road trips.). No complaints on the product at all.

got 3 of them for work to go in trucks, lo and behold one of our trucks got into a pretty bad wreck, like, insanely bad (everyones okay) and when we went to recover things out of the truck this thing was STILL MOUNTED TO THE DASH, thats INSANE how good the stick and suction and tackyness is that it didnt fly off the dash. i will be buying 3 more immediantly for backups, these are now my go-to brand, i dont care how much they charge.

UPDATE: Even though my return window was over, I called Amazon. They suggested that I reach out to the manufacturer for assistance. iOttie offered fantastic customer support; I only had to communicate with one person (Andrew), who was timely, on top of it, followed up with me, told me what he needed me to provide, and then replaced the product. I will put the new mount in my car tomorrow, and fingers crossed, this time it will enjoy a longer life! Original Review: I was so in love with this mount and thought I finally found THE ONE. I bought it on 6/15/26, and today, 8/25/26, it fell right off the dashboard. That's $20 down the drain, b/c it's too late to return it. :( The base surface that was stuck to the dashboard is no longer sticky, so my only other option is to use the window suction cup, but I don't like it on the window.

I love this mount. The magnet is strong so my phone doesent fall off. I like it better than my other ottie clamp type mount.

Solid magnet, solid suction cup. However once it got hot here in Texas the tape on my case (OtterBox) fell off. And so did the plastic case on the mount covering the magnet. I bought two and both did the same thing. My lesson is buy a case with magnet embedded at least. But I did really enjoy this product while it lasted.

Great product with so much attention to detail and packaging and in depth instructions and even a separate metal ring to apply to you cell phone case if needed to make sure it won’t let go while driving

It is working for me. I attached it to the windshield on my lefthand side. My iPhone 15 pro max (big and heavy) attaches nicely, it is stable and it is not shaking, rocking, wobbling. The suction cup is strong. It creates a bit of a blind spot, and a few times I looked at my phone instead of the sideview mirror. It is only a matter of getting used to.
