Like these very much for weights when assembling books and gluing. They are a little shorter than I want, so will probably have my husband cut a couple of 12 inch stainless steel bars for my bigger books. But for small, palm sized books, these little brass bars are really nice.

These brass bars are not flat. They are concave and have deep scratches that are hard to sand out. Very rough finish. I use these for knife making and what you see is plating to make them look brassy

I buy these a lot. They are 6mm, not 1/4", Seems to be good 360 brass I have had to get a refund or return as the packaging is lousy. Sometimes one or more has fell out. Once I got a torn empty box. Cheapest I can find, so still my go to if I am not in a hurry
