This Product is defective and the Company that sent it by Amazon refused to Refund my money! I am disabled and in a wheel chair do not have a Printer that is why I shop regularly at Amazon but this Company stole my money when they did not Refund me for the Defective Product! Then someone for my Home Healthcare told me if I would have purchased this from Walmart they would have refunded me for a Defective item.

Good 3D pen, granddaughter loves it, but filament refills are unavailable on Amazon (-2 *)
I bought this SCRIB3D Jr for my 8-yr-old granddaughter for Christmas. She did not seem to enthused at first, which surprised me because she's artistic and loves to draw. However, after she used it a couple times, she was much more excited about it, and has used it several times since Christmas. She loves to show me the things she's made. It seems to be well built and the material used in the filaments melts at low temperature, so there's little chance of her getting hurt. So, yes, the toy is good. However, I had quite a problem finding refills for the filament. (I finally did, see the bottom of the review.) I scoured everything I could find on this pen and looked in the SCRIB3D store to find something. Searching the store for SCRIB3D Jr Filament got me lots of hits on 1.75 mm filament for the SCRIB3D pen (not the Jr). Learned this the hard way by ordering that and finding it would not fit. The specs on the SCRIB3D Jr did not say anywhere what the material was or what the diameter of the filament is. This became a source of some frustration. I noted that others had similar complaints. I finally used a micrometer to determine that it was 2.5mm, but still could not find the material. I sent a note to the merchant through Amazon, but just got a reply today that the merchant has not responded. I started looking for alternatives, since I'd decided to return this if there were no refills available. In particular, I looked at the 3Doodler for kids, which seemed to be similar. I wondered if I could just order refills for that to try in the SCRIB3D Jr. However, meanwhile, my son-in-law had found that the refills are available through Walmart Online. These are specifically labeled for the SCRIB3D Jr and the details on the Walmart site show it to be 2.5 mm PCL material. (Note that this is a much softer material with a lower melt point than that used by the non-Jr versions. My daughter also got a non-Jr pen and was considering moving to the Jr herself because the Jr is battery-operated whereas the non-Jr pens must be plugged into a wall outlet. I told her that for what she wanted, the harder material is more appropriate, and will need the higher temperature, and thus the AC power.) Anyway, I ordered a set of the refill filaments and it should arrive next week. I also compared price of the SCRIB3D Jr vs the 3Doodler, and found the SCRIB3D Jr was about 3/5ths the cost for the pen and the refills have almost twice the material for about the same price, so as long as we can get the refills there, I'm happy, except that Walmart charges for shipping unless I buy $35 at a time, whereas Amazon shipping is free since I'm a Prime member. I would urge the merchant to make refills for this Jr pen available on Amazon. Very frustrating for your customers otherwise, and all else being equal, I'd rather buy from Amazon for the shipping and the great return policies. If the refills were available on Amazon, I'd raise the rating to 5. Bottom line: This seems to be a good pen for kids. If you want the refills, go to Walmart Online and search for SCRIB3D Jr Filament.

Not the greatest
I gotten two of these and they both donโt work. It like if you donโt use them for awhile they jam up and then when you go to use it they are clogged.

The girls were so excited when they opened their gifts. Have enjoyed creating creatures.

Not as neat as they sound
This is a neat idea and with patience, you may be able to get it to work. It takes a special kind of abs so it was hard to find. I got the wrong kind and had to return them but finally found the right one.
