Vanicream Aluminum-Free Gel Deodorant, Helps Reduce Odor, Unscented, 2 Oz

I buy this item regularly because it’s the only kind I can use and not have an allergic reaction. Twice now the top of the bottle comes off and all of the deodorant comes out. It’s to expensive to waste and that’s what happens.

I used to buy the solid Vanicream deodorant here and it was GREAT. But the company is apparently having a supply chain issue and has temporarily (?) stopped making the solid. So I bought the gel thinking it would be the same. Not at all. The solid worked for 36 hours easily. All day and then through a workout the next morning. The gel is tacky in my underarms and wears off in a few hours. Does not fight the stink at all. It’s worse than natural deodorant. Please bring back the solid!!!!

I actually really like the deodorant, it’s the only one I’ve found so far that doesn’t irritate my skin. The problem is this particular package arrived with both deodorants being defective. One is completely empty and the other would not roll up so I had to break it open to use its contents. I missed the return window so I’m stuck with one empty deodorant and one broken one.

I used this deodorant for about a year with only minor irritation and adequate odor protection and though I had finally solved the problem of functional deodorant without rash/chemical burns/mess. About 6 months ago got my subscribe and save delivery and the container had a different shape. I did what any allergy sufferer does and checked the ingredients against the old style. Everything was the same except where it used to say purified water, it now says water. Well, I'm not allergic to water, so when the old one ran out I moved onto the new stick. Within minutes I felt itchy. I continued use thinking it must be something else. I soon had huge red halos around both my pits that itched intensely. I stopped using, smelled bad for two weeks, tried again. Even worse reaction. I switched back to Thai Crystal stick (messy). Recently we visited family and I had a stick of this stuff in the travel bag. I figured it's only 2 nights, I can handle a little rash. I woke up at 2am with epic level itching and had to wash my armpits. I have no idea what is in this product that I am allergic to, it doesn't have anything in it that came up on my testing. I have to assume either the ingredients list is incorrect, the "water" is some sort of industrial runoff, or I suddenly became allergic to something extremely hypoallergenic right when the company changed the product.

I like the way this product works with my skin, IF ONLY I could get it out of the dispenser and onto my skin! I just received my 2nd deodorant in a row that will not dispense! I turn the knob at the bottom and nothing comes out the top. No shaking or turning will get this product out of the dispenser and onto your skin. I believe this is a faulty product.

This was the ONLY deodorant that worked for me; no rashes, not itching, no excessive sweating… I reordered not realizing it was gel! I hate gel! It makes my armpits feel wet and it does nothing now. I am extremely disappointed that the antiperspirant stick is just gone away with, and this is what it is replaced with. Literally the ONLY deodorant I found that worked, and now I have I figure something else out with my extremely sensitive skin! PLEASE bring the stick back! GEL is NOT for everyone and it’s horrible!

Awful product. Feels sticky and watery at the same time. Doesn't do anything to help with sweating but kind of helps with odor. Don't waste your money.

I receive this product every 2 months and like it because it is aluminum free and gluten free. I always put it in the cabinet unopened until the current opened product is used up. When I opened the new product yesterday to my disappointment the wheel at the bottom would not turn allowing the gel to come to the top. I have never had this happen before and I’m passed the date to return. This seems like a manufacturing defect and seems very unfair not to be able to replace it.

The best unscented underarm deodorant, no itch and scratch, no more odor for the rest of the day. Update: After almost a month of using this product, noticed my underarm is not black anymore, its almost flawlessly whitening, this is Amazing.... 2nd. Update: This is my second purchase now 2PC. Hoping for a discount next time. 3rd Purchase: This is my 3rd purchase of 2pc. Instead of discount it increased, but thanks anyway, it works like wonders. 4th Purchase: It doesn't harden up, you have to twist the dial for it to extrude out and use, its like a hard wax so don't expect for it to soften overnight, stop your drama, the hard it is the more its good to use, so it's impossible to melt, The condition is perfectly good, if you want to smell good spray perfume on your underarm.
