I’ve only had this thing for about two weeks and I have to say it’s the best little blender I’ve ever had. I’ve gone through two or three ninjas and several magic bullets and they always bite the dust. They get too hot while you’re using them and then they break this one. Seems very strong in fact extremely strong! It’s so cute too. I love the way it looks.!! I make smoothies every morning and I just hit the button that is for 45 seconds and it starts out slow it speeds up and then it declines to a slower before it turns itself off and my smoothie is completely smooth. Very happy so far I hope nothing happens to it soon.😂 I will say the very first couple of times I used it. I had a hard time turning it to click in place, but I think that’s because it was brand new after that I can easily turn it and click it in place.

Review of the Splendor Blender from Our Place: I really love this cool little blender! The Splendor Blender is powerful, easy to use and clean. It looks great and does not take up space in my small kitchen. I can leave it out on my counter which makes it really convenient. I use it daily in the morning to whip up my protein smoothies. It is great to not have to haul out my Vitamix from the pantry. I am planning to use it to make my jerk chicken marinade. Normally I would be using my food processor to make this. So now this eliminates another appliance I would be taking out to use. So far I am truly enjoying this appliance and highly recommend it.

I really wanted to love this product. I even gave it a second try! First of all this blender is incredibly loud!! Way louder than any other blender I’ve had. Second the lock mechanism is a design flaw. There were several times I tried to remove it and it would leak, one so bad the entire smoothie spilled all over the counter and blender. After that spill the blender stopped working all together. I still wanted to like it so i thought maybe i did something wrong and i ordered it again. This time it was just as loud and every time I blended the base would start to smoke and had a smell of burnt plastic. Extremely disappointed. I really wish I knew of better single serve nontoxic blenders

This is a good, powerful, small blender. I wish it was a bit bigger. I love the color. It matches my kitchen and another Our Place product that I have.,

Decent blender

This blender was perfect for my needs. I recently started making smoothies and blender soups. The cup is an ideal size for one person living in a studio space, and it looks beautiful out on the counter. I also appreciated the simplicity of the settings and ease of use/cleaning.

Yuck. First let's put aside the erroneous assumption on my part that it was glass and the fact that everything that touches your food except blade itself is plastic. This thing has serious design flaws that make it very messy if you intend to use it more than one time without rinsing and cleaning, like for prepping shakes or ice creams for the week. I admit, I was dumbly influenced, by a non-toxic content creator endorsement of the brand. By the time you finish your second blend batch of whatever, the threads are full of it. It then drips down into the housing which is near impossible to clean without getting moisture down in the motor. It is pretty if you are the type to have a regularly used appliance on your counter top, but at cost of gross.

Simple and effective. Nothing fancy. No interchangeable parts. It is what it is and that's what we wanted. We already have a food processor so we just wanted a reliable blender. Looks good on the counter. Owned for 3 months and all good so far.

I bought this blender to make baby food and its wonderful. Beautiful design, blends up quickly without having to keep pushing the food back down the sides and does it rather quietly- my old blender scared my child. Also it's small and sleek so it's very easy and quick to clean. Amazing. Thank you.

I really REALLY wanted to love this blender but while I love the design and power, those are the only two positive things. Claiming that the cup can hold 750ml is very misleading as this does NOT mean you can have 750ml within the “max line”, but is the cup in its entirety. So no, it is most definitely not 750ml, but approximately *475ml* to the “max” line. Also, if you get even a little bit of your smoothie ingredient in the threading area where the blade is screwed in, you will have leaking and a mess to clean up. It’s also incredibly loud. Like I said, I really wanted to love this blender as I have a smoothie every single day. Very sad about this.

I really wanted to like the Our Place Splendor Blender since we already enjoy other products from the brand, but this one didn’t quite work for me. It definitely has power — the 1000W motor blends fast and handles fruit and ice without much effort. But the biggest issue is how loud it is. Even on the lower setting, it’s one of the noisiest blenders I’ve used, which isn’t ideal when you’re trying to make a quick drink early in the morning. The other problem is the design of the blending cup or container. Whenever I finished blending and went to remove it, it always felt like I had to be extra careful to avoid spilling. The connection point doesn’t feel secure enough during the twist-off, so unless you’re slow and very precise, the risk of a mess is pretty high. It happened more than once. After trying it a few times, I found myself reaching back for my Vitamix — quieter, sturdier, and easier to use without worrying about leaks.
