Is there a way to dismantle the lid to clean it if mold starts to form underneath the plastic vacuum seals?

There isn’t a way to dismantle the lid, however, I still manage to clean the seals. I put the lid only in the top rack of the dishwasher at least three times a week and haven’t had a mold issue. Another thing I do at times is soak the lid in white vinegar and baking soda and use a flexible toothpick (plastic) to get under the seals.

Is the bottle suitable for carrying hot coffee?

You can, if you wanted too. Since there is a straw for the inside you will need to remove that to keep your coffee warm. Then you can use the spout to pour your coffee or drink out of depending on how HOT you like your coffee. If you are going to put water make sure to clean the inside thoroughly.
