Love black licorice, heck, licorice in general, and this adds a twist. The salt is a bit different but it kind of sets up the flavor of the licorice. It's good stuff.

The package doesn't lie. Strong flavour is just that, very salty but moreish.

Muy rico, tiene un sabor muy peculiar a amoníaco, es un gusto adquirido.

This is the 2nd time I've ordered from these folk, and the shipment in both cases came a lot sooner than expected. Inside, the packages were triply wrapped, taped down, and came with a nice note. Now, the first thing is that *most* salty licorice: (1) isn't salty; and, (2) smells like old feet. I'm in the US, and didn't learn about salty licorice until my Finnish advisor introduced it to me. It was shocking & awesome. Most "salty" licorice you can find (especially over here) is vaguely salted with table salt, or something. This stuff has ammonium chloride as the _fourth_ ingredient. The next thing to note is that the licorice is made from ... licorice. It's actually really hard to find "real licorice licorice" in the US. So, basically, this product welds high quality licorice with *serious* salt content. Most people I let try this don't like it. Whatever. It's for sure a learned taste.
