Jada Sonic The Hedgehog 1.65" 18-Pack Die-Cast Figures, Toys for Kids and Adults

Consider considering that these Sonic figures are relatively cheap, they are pretty great quality. We use them on a birthday cake and worked well for that. My kid has played with them for a few months and the paint is staying on pretty well too.

As a kid toy, you dont want them to break easily. These things are metal. They are not breaking. In the sun, no fading. In the water, doesn't rust. Smack them together, some paint may come off. My son left them on the floor and I stepped on one. That toy damn near made my son an orphan. Extremely painful and impromptu home alone trap. Good buy

Was really pleased with these little guys. We got them as cake toppers (they're only maybe two inches tall, if that), and they look great, but months later, after being used as toys, they still look good. Some paint chipping, but minimal. The craftsmanship is good: the figures actually look like they do in the game, not just generic "bodies" with heads attached to them. As you can see, with eighteen characters, they come from all over the Sonic universe, from regulars like Knuckles out to Cream and the little creature that comes with her (I can't remember its name, but the point is that the set represents the Sonic character spectrum well). I mentioned we're using them as toys, but they are quality figurines to set up and just look at, too, for collectors. Recommended.

I originally bought these to give them to my 6 year old grandson for his 6th birthday in January. Instead of giving him the entire box, I decided to give him one at a time. I gave him a Sonic coupon book (that I made) for his "Sonic" birthday. With each coupon he redeems with me, I'll let him pick one Sonic figurine. He's received 1 thus far but has a place in his room where he said they'll all be lined up. They appear to be of good quality and weight. The only problem for us was getting them out of the plastic tomb they were encased in. We actually had to cut the plastic in strategic places to get them out. Some of them were made with delicate pieces sticking out and I was afraid of force-pulling them out and risk breaking one. Most plastic items can be popped out by pushing the backside forward. That didn't work for these figurines.

They are nice but hard to get out of the package. Also, they hurt if you accidentally step on it lol.
